Picons:
Create your jpegs and size them as 206 x 124 << important or they wont load properly
Put them all in a folder on your PC
1/ Open up Spark Editor 1.7
2/ Select the TV tab
3/ Then select Open and upload your channel list to the Spark Editor
4/ Once completed select the ICON tab
5/ Then select 'Load ICON'
6/ Browse to where you stored your picons on your PC
7/ At this point you probably will not see any icons appear
8/ Then click on a channel in the list and in the pop up (should be a window where you browse to your picons) select the correct Picon for the channel you want
9/ It will then automatically convert the picon to the correct format (eg 0_0_0 etc)
Then once completed you can upload the new picons to your box via FTP (root/spark/AppUserDb/icon)
also spark did have a a e2 to spark convertor built in
Favourites:
While you've got Spark Editor open you can create your favourites here which are like bouquets on E2:
Right click on the channel under the TV and Radio tabs and select Add to FAV and select a FAV group
You can rename the FAV groups under the Fav Tv tab so they reflect the names you use on your bouquets in E2, such as Entertainment, Movies, etc.
If you choose to do this, save to USB stick when finished and plug the stick back into the Alien, then go to:
Menu > System > Upgrade > Database Converter > (check path to USB stick is OK) [Green] Update
