Can someone help me regarding VM channels please

1 - When I install splitter, virgin broadband speed goes down

2 - What is the best image to download to watch sat + vm (Cable) + iptv with beautiful skin

You can install Autobouquets or AutoBouquetsMaker plugin which will scan for cable channels. Look in the skin forum to see what you like, which should give you an idea which image will be best for you..

I have done with everything within my knowledge.... but still not success... can you check what wrong I am doing....

So what happens when you use that in ABM?

Do you get any Cable channels that are viewable when you perform a normal scan (not use ABM)?

When I do scan, I get same message of "scanning failed!"

I have checked my tuner setting, Tuner C: Vuplus DVB-C NIM(TT3L10) (DVB-C) =ok

Configure tuner to virgin media =ok

Autobouquets setting are ok

It wont let me attach pictures here...

problem might be in pictures ...

tuner does automatically recognise my area but does NOT tune channels .... wired ....

1. Can you confirm that you have an active DVB-C signal?

2. If your image allows you, perform a scan with these settings.

Note: When you take a screenshot using web interface, you can right click on the picture and save it.

I am currently vm broadband customer and I had tivo box which I returned around 6 months ago.....I am using,

Remove the splitter and connect cable directly. You will lose internet while you do so.

I removed all splitters from the cable and I plugged in straight into my duo2 receiver. I manually scanned but no result.

I plugged the splitters again and I took the picture of setting, which are here below,

Sorry out of ideas.

One last thing, can you connect to an aerial. Set tuner as terrestrial and perform a scan. This will check tuner.

I bought this tuner from Ebay and I can see, its cloned tuner and I am using original vu+ duo2 but. I can see that box has recognised the tuner.

Do you think that vm has installed tv filters outside home?

Do I need to subscribe tv channels from them?

Post 15, DVB-C:
They do not add filters. The signal levels are adjusted for what you subscribe to. You may have too little power (you would need to use an amplifier or subscribe to TV services) or you can have too much. You would need to use an attenuator.

My broadband speed is spot on. Therefore signals are coming in good strength and virgin exchange is NOT far from my house, just around 15 meter up there.

Unfortunately I have not got any antenna installed in my home, therefore I cant possibly test tuner by any other mean, except send this tuner back and order another one... what do you think?

I changed skin to red vix, still no help yet

Skin has no impact on these matters.

Just because you have spot on speed internet, it does not mean you have correct signal for TV reception.

Not fair on seller if you have localised issue. Not fair on you if tuner is faulty. But we don't know what the case is.

I have just opened the box again. I took the tuner out and placed it back firmly, restarted the box but nothing is seems to be working at all.....

is there anything else i can do? like download any different image etc.
