  • Hi, could some nice gentleman have a look at my configs please as i seem to get random freezing but its getting more regular,, i have tried with cache cycle on and off but i just cant seem to get it right,,, most of my friends use Mgcamd but a couple use cccam..also tried oscam as emu but it doesn't seem to matter which emu i use it still freezes,,sometimes for 3 to 4 seconds and sometimes about 7 or 8 seconds,,driving me mad,,i dont have a sly local card as you will see in my configs but i have cache from a reputable person and a newcamd line from a mate... ecm times at client end are fine so my ddwrt router is doing its job well,cant see anything in live log either when it freezes although i assume thats not proper logging, there is about 17 in total on 0963 but at most there is only around 10 or 11 connected when footie is on or something.

    Ohh to add i,m using a vu zero box with latest open atv image(5.3) as server..i dont use plugins that could cause the box to crash..basic plugins like epg downloader is about the size of plugins and the only one used so i think i can rule out the box but i,ll let you guys decide if you dont mind..

    Lots of thanx in advance

    John :-)

  • Can we assume because you havn`t posted a solution, that you had bad cache from a "reputable person" ?

    Sorry for the late reply but i just noticed your reply....from memory i had no response from any member with any advice on this forum master g and to answer your query...no i would not say its bad cache...just my own problems with my configs setup which was the reason i asked for help in the first place;;;

    heyho

  • i think the main problem a lot of people are having freezing problems on oscam with caids 0963,0960,1841 is mainly the fact that there is a lot less real cards out there now, there for generating less real cache. Exchange more with people with REAL cards. I found that finding people with real cards and exchanging cacheex no more than 3 hops made a big difference. the delays are all different on each server depending on how many clients & peers you have, i have helped a few people fix there freezing problems, some i have never been able to fix but dramatically improve. i find on caid 1841 you need your delay settings a lot higher than 0963,0960. Remember each server can be different. Another thing to remember is to drop all fakecws & csp cache. & to drop Drop CWs with wrong checksum: on standard cccam & n line readers. Then moving onto cycle check, some people report it works great, others it makes it worse. best settings i have found if you do decide to try is

    Max Cycle List Entrys: 4000

    Keep Cycletime: 20

    on bad cycle: ( no 1 drop)

    drop old cws: ( tick this)

    Sensitive new CW: (off)

    Allow Bad Cycle from Fixed Fallback: ( tick )

    Use CWC Info from Cacheex Sources: ( tick )

    i hope this helps a few of you using caid 1841, 0963,0960 Good Luck

    regards & happy sharing
