These boxes are extremely cheap but are they any good for this price ,77 dollars for the K1 plus . havent ppriced the K2 PRO yet but heard its about 90 , wonder if any of our members have one and what do they think....

Had a quick google of the price of these and they can be got for around 55-67 dollars from alibaba.com......surely cant be any good for this price ?

They are good box for money and Android side plays streams without issue. Depending on your dish the tuners can be a hit and miss. I'm using shared dish in apartment complex the some channels very low siginal compared to other boxes. But normal sky dish you will have no problems.

Oscam runs good in them too.

Sounds Good , glad to get feedback from someone who has one and a fellow county man " LUIMNEACH ABU "...great value for money then as you would hardly get a stand alone Android box for that kind of money....how is cccam on it , i read on another website that it keeps disconnecting every 3 or 4 seconds .

Lines work good on it, I didn't have any issue of disconnecting every 3 4 seconds. Better off paying extra few bob for Mars box from linuxsatellite.com they put ki to shame. Best hybrid box for price I feel.

use mars and U4 quad here no issues on single sat :)

when you say hybrid box do you mean it has a dvbt2 and a dvbs2 tuners and an Android Opetating system aswell and i can run cccam on it and do you mean " world of satellite co.uk " shop as i would like to support the shop connected with this forum if possible or is linuxsatellite.com a different place altogether, and do you or HONCHO have links to these boxes i.e Mars or U4 Quad so i can check them out at the shop ....i want to watch the saorview chns and the satellite chns and also have Android on it to run Kodi etc aswell and run cccam without any hitches....thanks

i have this box arround 3 weeks and work excelent including sharing with cccam, but i did have problem with USALS, my opinion is " box is very user friendly with simple controls.

Are you sure that it works OSCam?
If it works, I guess you manually install OSCam? If so, put this installation file here and explained the process for all those who have K1 Plus or Pro KII box.

Hybrid I mean android and dvb-s2, doesn't have dvb-t2.

It's only a single line so you can't record and watch at same time but other than that it has 7day Epg. Very clear picture on tv even on 60 inch tv, plays 720p streams a lot better than most android smart boxes. Best if both worlds with it.

mars is only droid watch dvb but u4 lets you use kodi and tvheadend to watch dvb
channel managers are only thing that holds any of them back in my eyes but cant say much about dvb-t2ordvb-c for U4
as ive not played with any that side of things only dvb-s

I try to connect with web browser, but I see only message: Unable to connect.
What is wrong?

You will need to do it from the browser on your box balkanac then once you have access change the conf file to allow remote access.

try 127.0.0.1:8888 or http://localhost:8888 and also your 192.168 ip of box.

I have KII Pro AndroidTVBox, and I try to connect via web browser ( I try: 192.168.x.x:8888, and 172.0.0.1:8888), but Unable to connect.
Maybe my Android must be first setting for this method?
To connect via the web browser, it might be necessary to do some pre-settings in Andorid Box?

Install Treminal app and enter:

ps |grep oscam

This will show you if oscam is running.

If you want to install a C or N line to your KI box go to your DTV player settings > installation and press 111111 on remote to bring up hidden menu where you can put your lines.

your oscam conf files are in a folder in either
/system
/ data
/etc

you can pull these files out with adb edit them and push them back to where they where.

you might need to remount system to copy files back

mount -o remount, rw /system
chmod 755 /system

cp /mnt/sdcard/your_conf_files /system/location_of_original_files

Sorry I can be more specific but I sold my KI.

Hope this helps, if you find the conf files get back to me and I will explain how to get them off box and back on.

this app is ok for droid as ftp server so you can edit files rather than full off and send back :)

When I add in the "system" folder, no "data" folder. Before, I enable to see hidden files, but still I can see this folder.
Any other solutions?

balkanac you wont see them folders unless you have root access. You need a root file explorer or you have to use adb to get files.
