Mohamed has stopped maintaining and updating the plugin. This is why it will happen that hosts that are still working will stop working over time. Most often, links or parsers no longer work and need to be fixed (no valid links available) or fix whole host.Also many hosts are still in the list who no longer works or is the website down.Some hosts are old 2-3 yr or more who are never fixed.

I installed E2iplayer from Mohamad OS, but when I try it out, a lot of things seem to be missing, or movies, etc., can't be found. I mean, many applications don't work. Only a very few do.
The version is from January 31 of this year. Is there anything wrong with this?

I wouldn't say that Italian hosts are neglected, but the developer (now only Mario) has no will or interest to fix them or add new ones (two or three would be enough, but they are fixed as needed). I don't know what's up with Maxbambi (I hope he's fine), but he gave up a long time ago. It's similar with Greek hosts because there are requests that they don't work (Mohamed, Mario), but from time to time they change the parser that needs to be added to the urlparser. Regardless of the fact that I have a private version, these are some of my experiences from before when I had Mario or Blindspot repo installed.

Greek subtitles work on both hosts (gamato,xrysoi), but they were never implemented in the host or hdvid urlparser. It's not a problem to implement, but need to know how to make the correct syntax as it is in the source code.
Who will ever do that (from developers), I don't know.

Wish it worked on mine but it doesnt as most probz this is for python 3.12 and earlier as I have 3.13 python version running openatv 7.6 :( also using mohameds e2iplayer
Usually I download a film on my computer and ftp to my dreambox. To watch the film I use e2iplayer media play. At certain time intervals the film freezes and then continues . Sometimes it takes long to continue. Sometimes I have to restart the box. The issue is when I download the subtitle and add the subtitle to the film. Is there any setting to configure to fix this?
Is there a media player plugin with similar functions as the one in e2iplayer?
The version of e2iplayer is by Mohamad OS and my receiver is 8000HD.

This urlparser is for those who have the Mario repo installed. Mohamed's is significantly different and I don't know if it will work there(also is size in kb different). It is possible to add parsers for this host, but there is a small problem that Mohamed has a pyc file.The parser for the VOE link changes quite frequently for this host, approximately every two weeks, as with other hosts that have that link.
