  • Hello,

    I'm new to the forum so please don't flame me for wrong questions. I would like to do a proof of concept.
    Here in the office I have a cable provider with some scrambled channels. I would like to test the decryption (if possible) for cable providers. I think I've managed to put together a working config except for the card details.

    Design:
    Oscam Server+Omnikey 3121 <--------> Oscam Server + Client (mumudvb)

    The errors I am getting are:
    2017/02/27 13:12:38 1B86B57C c (ecm) user1 (0B00@000000/0000/2B5F/A4:CB5C54159C190AB18E1F83EE74ECCD2D): not found (762 ms) by omnikey

    I think I know where I missed it -> Card details: caid, provid, ident. How can I get those?
    Service ID, I got that from mumudvb and converted from decimal to HEX as per manual, could someone confirm this is the correct way?

    Thank you in advance for your help.

    Some details of the config:

    Server -> oscam.conf

    Server -> oscam.server

    Server -> oscam.user

    Code
    [account]
    user       = user1
    pwd        = pleasedecrypt
    group      = 1
    au         = omnikey
    ident      = 0B00:000000
    caid       = 0B00
    services   = cable

    Server -> oscam.services

    Code
    [cable]
    caid=0B00
    provid=000000
    srvid=2B5D,2B5E,2B5F,2B60,2B61,2B62,2B63,2B64,2B66

    Client -> oscam.conf

    Client -> oscam.server

    oscam.user and oscam.services are copied from the server.

    Which card are you using ? What is the name of the provider ?
    Remove the caid and ident values from both the server and client configs..
    Then try to view some premium channels..
    The log like you provided above should show the correct caid and ident values for your card.
    oscam server log at startup should also show something to identify your card.

    Card owner UPC Slov*nia, now T*l*mach. (replace * with e) -> to confuse search engines.

    Some card details with pcsc_scan:

    Log, when starting oscam:

    Now, I will try to remove caid and ident on both sides.
    Interesting, the log looks the same, even without caid and ident.

    Now starting the client:

    So what I understand is that oscam can detect all the parameters of the card but if you would like to do special configs, you should put caid and ident values into the required config files. Now I can see that my config at least the CAID and IDENT part were done correctly and even newcamd for communication from server to server. Basically from log I understand (please correct me if I am wrong), that user1 (mumudvb client) is trying to open a stream with service id 2B63 (lets take the last line of the log). What I don't understand is the error "not found". Why (I presume 2B63) is it not found and where is it looking for? In oscam.services it is listed. What I am missing here?

    Thank you.
