DM800HDseV2 image is for SSL88J, others SSL84J.

Need to put a warning on these images, none of them work on original dreambox dm800hd pvr and one of the last ones I tried from posts above has now bricked my box which is not a clone.

None, not a single image from this list nor ANY dm800hd pvr image on the forums anywhere here have worked, either clone only or if they are for original they're missing some library or something or other is completely messed up.

Don't even have a null modem cable now to try and recover the bloody box after being bricked by a stupid japhar image. :(

So found a usb to serial null modem cable so I've at least recovered the DM800HD's bootloader and stuck a working image on it, finally.

Damn these clone images everywhere though :cursing:

FYI, Damn... DMM stopped supporting in 2013 your Original DM800HDpvr box... only Clones continue to have support (from Clone Teams). Probably you must tell that you are upset to DMM because of lack of support from them.

I can read perfectly fine. It's not exactly clear that the images are ONLY for boxes with upgraded sims. It is now though.

Personally think ALL clone images should be kept away in a completely separate section from genuine box images on the forums but as you say, the box is old and unsupported save for a few images people upload occasionally themselves.

Hopefully since then, we have the "image model" shown, that appears advising for which clone it is or if it's for Original/Genuine box.

Generally all what is SSL84J and "Japhar" IS for boxes (Original or Clone) BUT UPGRADED to Japhar Sim.
