  • I'm trying to learn how to open a biss channel using oscam

    I have oscam installed, I can see it on receiver and filezilla

    I need to know if I use a softcam.key file or constant .cw file or both (Is there a certain softcam file You use)

    I don't want a big file of keys, just a few when needed, I can add to

    I need to know what file they go in, would be very helpful, I've read etc/keys and user / tuxbox not sure

    Thanks :thumbup:

    oscam reads a constant .cw file.

    oscam-emu reads a softcam.key file.

    oscam requires a reader in oscam.server to find the constant.cw file.

    oscam-emu creates a reader itself.

    Place the constant.cw or softcam.key in the same location as the rest of the oscam configs. If using openatv it will be /usr/keys.

    Here is an example reader for oscam / constant.cw:

    Code
    [reader]
    label = constant.cw
    protocol = constcw
    device = /usr/keys/constant.cw
    caid =  0D00,0D02,090F,0500,1801,0604,2600,FFFF,0E00,4AE1
    detect = cd
    ident = 0D00:000000,000004,000010,000014,000020,0000C0,0000C4,0000C8,0000CC;0D02:000000,00008C,0000A0,0000A4,0000A8;090F:000000;0500:000000,030B00,023800,021110,007400,007800;1801:000000,007301,001101;0604:000000;2600:000000;FFFF:000000;0E00:000000;4AE1:000000
    group = 1

    caid and ident values can be changed to match the package / channels you are trying to view.

  • Thanks, for the reply

    I went with the oscam-emu 11226 openatv mips 32 ipk cam

    I'm have ATV 6.1

    I loaded the ipk file usb style

    I put the softcam file in the usr/keys folder along side Oscam files

    I didn't have any luck opening the biss channel

    I edited the softcam contents, trying some things

    I only have the one key in place.

    The softcam file looks like this

    F sid-ecm, key# Key channel ID

    ##BISS####################################

    F 000E2600 00 ################ ; channel

    F 000E2600 01 ################ ; channel

    I didn't have any luck

  • Rick, I can go to my web interface via web browser, no problem using receiver IP

    I don't have to add the :8081 or :8888 to bring it up. I don't see anything that says files

    I have settings/softcam settings

    I have two checkboxes

    show oscam extensions

    show ccam extensions

    nothing else, I can find

    I have my softcam file in etc/tuxbox/config/softcam.key

    it is in with the other oscam folders

    there is no folders in usr/keys

    What rickk was suggesting was go to the oscam / ncam webinterface. What you were accessing was the openwebif plugin.

    Open oscam.conf or ncam.conf and look for [webif]. This will show you which port to use http://box.ip:port

  • I have got comfortable with Biss

    I now want to tackle Powervu

    which image openatv or open8eight

    The reader file, that I see all over the forums, does it go in the softcam server file

    or a how to config file

    I saw the video on stream relay, how to add channel, I think, I can do that

  • Hi, I downloaded oscam file ipk but I'm not able to correctly configure file for reading of biss and cw; could kindly anyone help me or post file to put on right folder? Thanks a lot...

  • Hello, I have a Dreambox HD800 se original with Oscam-emu. I can read all the biss channel in Oscam but if I try to charge one new biss keys (for example one feed) I can't view the channel... Where I have to put the keys? Thanks.

  • I have them in softcam.key file on my clone DM800SE, AND WORKS FINE.

    problem is when you have 2 or more channels with same id: oscam reads only the 1ST one starting from the bottom of the list.

    NIHIL SINE DEO !

  • Thanks for you answer.

    Ok, i know this but I don't know which files I have to edit. It's Softcam.key in usr/keys?

    Another question. I have an OpenPli 6 Image and with my cccam 2.3.0 I can't open Powervu Channel, on tv I read "Unsupported CAs". If I change Softcam and put in Oscam-emu I read "No parse cannot Emu".
