Thx for the new image, but little bit confused.
See you need a sim (30 euro) to install the new image on a clone box.
last worked image without sim is from april 2016: Openpli.4.0.Gstreamer1.9.DM800HD.CLONE.SSL84D.SIM2 .OE2.0.byhouara.14.04.2016
that works on clone dm800 (hd) with SSL84D.SIM2.
these boxes are not longer supported by new OpenPLI images if you don't use a sim?
Possible to make also new images for clone dm800 hd, based on: DM800HD.CLONE.SSL84D.SIM2 .OE2.0
I'am sure that many clone DM800 users would love to see new build images without upgrading their dreambox with a sim...
And for other users who want to install this image:
DONT USE THIS IMAGE ON YOU DM800 BOX, CAUSE AFTER REBOOT YOU WILL GET THE FAMOUS "NO CA" ERROR!
And if you are not familiair with this error, then you have some work todo, cause your dreambox will not (re)boot anymore!
SO, DONT INSTALL THIS IMAGE IF YOU DONT WANT TO TROUBLESHOOT!
You can ask the Sim2 Team to create new images as per your wish, as I don't see Dreambox to build images for Sim2 boxes and same I don't see Japhar Team to create images for sim that are not theirs.

Are you sure ? sim 2 is a clone sim card.
original images are here -> DM800 Images
Personally i would try OpenTSImage or Backhole 4.1
Boxes that support only SSL70 / SSL72 are Sim 1.0 boxes, the sim is generally totaly white or could even have printed the same as on the original sim Dreambox A2P... and stuck with some glue on the sim socket... but are still Sim 1.0, and not capable of loading original image with SSL84.
Try to just flash the SSL84.NFI bootloader, to see if the box boots OK... if it gives a NO CA ERROR, it confirms it's a Sim 1.0 box... if this is the case, your only chance to upgrade your box to a newer image is to change the Sim.
If your box is original and accepts the original SSL84.NFI, then go to OpenPLi and upload the latest original image published by them, that is OpenPLi 2.1.

This is what i managed to get from the box
Booloader version: Dreambox Second Stage Loader BUILD #70, built 20081211
root@dm800:~# opkg list | grep secondstage
dreambox-secondstage - 75-r0 - Dreambox second stage bootloader
dreambox-secondstage - 76-r0
dreambox-secondstage-dbg - 75-r0 - Dreambox second stage bootloader
dreambox-secondstage-dev - 75-r0 - Dreambox second stage bootloader
But can't access it via web page to flash, i can telnet and ftp with dcc, i guess it needs null modem connection.
Does it not go into flash mode when you unplug the power cable on dm800 > press & hold power button on front panel > plug in power cable and watch the front panel. You should see flash mode/ bootloader/sim info.

You need libc6 as well.
it's booting #84 but is now frozen on dhcp and keep rebooting
Image/receiver is using an old kernel that can`t take the new dependencies..
