Hello guys
i can change it very easy but waht i want now is to create my splash_auto.bin from this foto
as i creat those:
backdrop.mvi
bootlogo.mvi
bootlogo_wait.mvi
reboot.mvi
shutdown.mvi
all i need is how to convert a this foto to splash_auto.bin please

i did this:
How to make and change the splash screen!
- first you need a picture in .bmp format (picture.bmp).
- it has to be im format 720x576 und 24 bit.
- if we have it, it's need to be renamed in splash_cfe_auto.bin
(just rename* the picture.bmp in to splash_cfe_auto.bin) (like this is wrong: splash_cfe_auto.bin.bmp)
but i got this: splash_cfe_auto.bin.bmp
how to to change it to splash_cfe_auto.bin???!!

Please read again the part in red you quoted from the tutorial.
Just rename it from .bin.bmp to .bin. Can be done with a text editor like notepad++. Or open filezilla, search for the file and rename it.

and I don't know if VUs are the same as other boxes, but on other boxes, you can only change the splash screen on a new flash. The file goes into your flash folders.
I don't think you can change it once your image has been loaded.

To the start screen to flash (the very first boot logo) (splash_cfe_auto.bin), proceed as follows:
- Formatting a USB stick with FAT32 and create the following folder structure / vuplus/duo2 / or / vuplus/solo2 / (with the older models is different) - Attention: to show upper or lower case in the eighth case, spaces, etc. the folder must be named exactly the same, otherwise it does not work
- Box shutdown, turn off the back, remove all USB flash drives, insert the flash drive you just created and used as the image, flash (goes very quick, is only one file) -

I don't think you can change it once your image has been loaded.
You can with vu+. I`ve done it with all images.
i did try it from usb (vuplus/solo4k/splash_auto.bin) i think this the one for Vu+ solo 4k or i amwrong!
There are 2 files in my attachment. If splash_auto.bin doesn`t work try the other one splash_cfe_auto.bin

i did it too :-) no chance no i will try to flash it with a backup after i put the file you send me on the folder : vuplus-solo4k and send it to usb soon i will try it hope it will work agreat thanks to you my friend
