Tiviar Alpha+

This is one of our most popular receivers at the moment. Triple tuner, 2x Satellite + 1x Hybrid DVB-C/T2. Internal 2.5" SATA HDD facility. Fast stable box. Pretty much unbeatable spec for only £99!

It's a good box and great value at the moment.

Video quality from Tiviar and Formuler (Fortis manufactured boxes) can be very good indeed so that's another plus.

Only issue would be images and ongoing support. It does have OpenATV and OpenVix images out there but strangely enough nothing from OpenPli ?

Yes it does, OpenViX has AutoBouquetsMaker embedded. OpenATV AutoBouquetsMaker can be installed via online plugin feeds.

I have set Tiviar Alpha Plus to tuner A eutlesat 3b Eutelsat 3B at 3.1°E https://www.lyngsat.com/Eutelsat-3B.html (Greek tv Channels)there are 12 tv channels and they are in 3 groups (transponders), for example, when I ask to record ant1 tv while I keep watching ert1 channel,it records ant1 channel but it is a blank recording. How can I overcome this obstacle?

I’m wondering whether KodiLite V.5.0 will work on this box, or whether it is safe to try it.

It is not showing on the download list on the box.

(I have a backup of my current setup,so can restore if anything goes wrong.)

I have got a problem with the timer, the timer is missing and I get the message on the screen " the timer is corrupted" please let me know what I need to resolve the problem
