Hi,
I have a DreamBox DM8000HD PVR, with OpenPLi 6.2 installed.
Can I install version 7.0 (Pre-release test images) on version 6.2 (Stable release), without uninstalling it?
Or do I have to completely uninstall version 6.2 (Stable release)?
My intention is to take advantage of the existing 6.2 configuration.
I await information.

Flashing a new image formats/removes/overwrites whats on the flash memory.
The only way to keep both is to use a multiboot plugin. Which keeps your main image in flash and boots other images from HDD or USB.
Backup your settings with DreamSet or DreamEdit (or copy the files in /etc/enigma2),

the default company image will be remain on flash after installing other image or will be deleted

Its exactly the same on a zero4k. Flashing a new image wipes everything.

Vu+ receivers don`t use spark, only enigma2.

This is correct.. Each time you flash it removes the existing image. Use multiboot plugin for testing multiple images at the same time..
