  • Here is the place to share your SoftCam keys and configuration files for satellites viewable West of Europe.

Many times keys included with OSCam will work on our receivers for satellites we can receive but are initially assigned for those we cannot.

It is encouraged to let others know the little tricks you used to make keys work. Please adhere to forum rules but be as helpful as you can.

If you find a quick link covered on this site which covers questions members surely are going to ask, please provide it.

Please include your receiver platform (ARM, MIPS, etc) when you do so.

    And have fun !

  • Here are my latest keys working with OSCam r11440.

Powervu only. Check for the correct directory in webif or ftp oscam.services. Currently mine are in /etc/tuxbox/config/.

Most will decode immediately or in a few minutes.
As always, backup your existing keys before copying into the correct directory.
Big thanks to Kenno for his exported china box keys.
If you have any that are working and not in this file please share.

    SoftCam.zip

  • here are some biss for north america you can add to your softcam

    Thanks!
Back to work I guess. The key format is not right for Oscam-emu. Logs show :

the first priority of oscam emu is namespace hash and second priority is universal hash, choose one of them and all others is coming next

Of course I'm not understanding this.
The keys that beowolfe gave look like this:

    B 1FFF 04070:03257:H:127:0002 480844948501AA30 ;WMBC America.

And examples of setting up BISS to work in oscam-emu don't resemble this.
Also the config examples in git mention user names and passwords.
I'm trying and using LD and PVHE right now for pv keys, so I've gotten that far.

Mr. enigma, could you please explain so I can understand?

  • ok. i tried this:

took a key from the file...

    B 1FFF 03740:30000:H:101:012F BA0103BEEF196068 ;W4KUNIVERSE

Got the SID 00CC and Video PID 04FF from Serviceinfo
    Changed the key to:

    F 00CC04FF 00 BA0103BEEF196068 ;W4KUNIVERSE

Restarted oscam and have this in my live log

I'm getting cw's in Softcam Panel but no audio and video for 15 minutes now.
    What's next??

  • Are you sure the key is right?

and when you a time take a look here

    https://github.com/oscam-emu/oscam-patched/wiki/BISS-config

Thanks for the reply and link.
Yes. Sat & TP listed in key is correct according to lyngsat.
I see live log isn't advancing as it would for a pv channel. But in the panel cw's are displayed with the same cw info after 'no new ecm info' flashes about every 10 seconds.

  • you still having problems? here is a easy example for oscam or ncam biss.

    sid :abcd

    pid :1fff

    key :BA0103BE06196786

    F abcd1fff 00 BA0103BE06196786

add each key to your softcam in this format. the sid, pid, and key are on the text i uploaded

  • I saw the 1fff used universally in the keys. Are you saying to also use 'abcd' or the actual sid?
I tried a few different ways and got non-changing control words in the softcam panel.
Also no audio or video. Wondering if it's something I have to add in the config files or what?
What box did your keys come from. And do the ones I posted work for you?

As mentioned, I have pv down where I'm comfortable with it. Not 100%.
I appreciate Enigma 1969 for his input but I think he takes it for granted that all of us are fluent with the terms.

From his link there are many ways to setup a BISS key. I've tried several and still no audio/video.

  • yes use the actual sid ans yes the ones posted work for me. yes many ways for biss now i thought this would be the easiest.

Can you currently get this one? Will give me something to work on.

    B 1FFF 03740:30000:H:101:012F BA0103BEEF196068 ;W4KUNIVERSE

Is it running on an enigma2 receiver?
    Which one and what oscam?
