So what might be the problem?
Maybe a permissions issue.
Try changing the default password in telnet the try FTP again.
type passwd in putty/telnet then follow on screen prompts.
If that fails reflash the image.

I reflashed the image and this error came again. Whenever I try to send something to the receiver the following error happens:
Response: 550 SITE CHMOD command failed.
Is this common to every Open ATV 6.0 image?

Status: Directory listing of "/usr/keys/emu" successful
Status: Setting permissions of '/usr/keys/emu/oscam-svn11442-sh4-webif-oscam-emu-patched.tar.enc' to '755'
Command: SITE CHMOD 755 oscam-svn11442-sh4-webif-oscam-emu-patched.tar.enc
Response: 550 SITE CHMOD command failed.
Status: Connection closed by server
What is making this error? It was fine last night.
Config files do not need to be 755, 644 is fine.
Why are you trying to changed file properties/permissions of a zipped/compressed file?

You are not being very clear and concise. When you transfer a file, there are no CHMOD changes.
Say exactly what you are doing, do not mix operations up and people will help you. If you try and trick/confuse people, you will not get the best help.

This is the latest emulator for Auto Power VU and I`m changing the permissions so that I can use this emulator.
People cannot help you if you say one thing but are doing something else.
I said it already, i will say it again. You do not need to change permissions of the config files.
A tar file is a compressed file. You need to unzip/unrar it before you can change file permissions of it.
