  • Important: Please unzip the image-archive directly to the USB-Stick, the reason is that the directories are created correctly.

    1. If you do a new Flash: Download the Image to your local PC hard-drive (USB Version)
    2. Format the USB Stick with the filesystem FAT or better with FAT32
    3. Unzip the file directly to the USB-Stick (use: WinRAR, WinZIP, 7ZIP, etc.)
    4. The Folders /vuplus/zero have been added to the USB-Stick.
    5. 5 files are in the folder /vuplus/zero
    6. If you do a Backup Flash (Step 1 to 5 is unnecessary): Copy the previously created backup to the USB-Stick.
    7. Power off the Vu+ STB (Deepstandby or Powerswitch)
    8. Remove all USB Devices from the Box.
    9. Plug-in the USB-Stick.
    10. Power on the Vu+ STB.
    11. The white LED pulsates during the Flash process.
    12. Wait until the white LED starts blinking.
    13. Power off the Vu+ STB.
    14. Remove the USB-Stick.
    15. Power on the Vu+ STB.

If the flash of the BOX doesn't work, this could also be the reason of the size of the USB-Stick or the folder structure. The smaller the USB stick (2 GB) the better, in FAT32 formated.
