TNTSat card with Oscam - Cannot record

    I have finally got a TNTsat card working with OScam only to find I cannot record anything. It goes through all the motions of recording but but I end up with empty files as below.

    It is the same whether I try it with the recorder or just press record. I have no problem with other channels just TNT. I don't know whether it is my Oscam configuration or what. Iam using a VTI image 11.1 VU+ Uno

    Bit of a strange one that alright, even tho you can record other channels it still looks to be image related.


    I would do a complete image backup onto usb/stick or external drive, then backup settings and configs, after that i would try other images, blackhole or open atv which i prefer for vu+ boxes but its upto yourself, after transferring all backed up files to pc you could also try formatting the drive which i assume you have already done.


    There was issues with i think it was nova while still shareable and what was happening there was viaccess were limiting the amount of sids to 1 or 2 at any one time but even if that was happening you should still be able to at least record one channel or the channel you are watching so as said is strange that.

    I know nothing about dvbapp2 although google suggests it allows allows the PVR function. It probably is an image problem but before I flash a new image can anyone make any sense out of the log?

    Your chosen image is VTI.... i would suggest you upload your crashlogs on websites that deal with these images. its no biggie to try another image if all else fails... backup full image and if all else does fail you can go back to square1..


    I noticed your image for vti was not current... use latest images whichever you choose because its easier to help if we know your box is genuine with the latest software and not a clone.

    Saturday:

    My first point of call was the vti website admittedly it was in the English section and I was unaware of the crash log at the time. The image is the latest one for an old style VU+ Uno. they have withdrawn support for older machines on the basis that there is not enough space on them. I will however go back to them and try out my German because I have tried OpenATV and cannot even get CCCam to work at least not within an hour.

    No reply from the vti site but I have got TNTSat working and recording with Vix
