Bootloader update with speed update from 1500 MHz to 1700 MHz.
First check your CPU speed. Menu/info/about. The new HD51 comes with this bootloader.
BCM7251's clock was released by Broadcom for 1700Mhz so the chip works with around 12k DMIPS.
With the new boot loader future kernel update in the image is now possible.
Update of the bootloader is easily done via a USB stick.
Delete folder hd51 if present from the USB stick.
Download the bootloader.
Unpack bootloader and copy folder hd51 to the USB stick.
Contents of the USB Stick Folder HD51 with the following contents:
hd51-bolt.bin and imageversion
Connect the USB stick to a free USB port of the HD51.
On the front of the HD51, press the standby button until "bolt" appears in the display, or disconnect HD51 from the mains and press the standby button and reconnect the HD51 to the mains.
As long as the standby button is pressed, press until "bolt" appears in the display.
The box starts after updating itself again, after the start of the box, you can remove the USB stick and then disconnect the box once from the power and reconnect.
This is the new boot loader active.
