as already reported on openatv it no longer works on 7.4 or 7.5.
At first it worked very well... then when I updated the image it stopped working.

Edit: I just installed vpn manager on openatv7.5.1 and it is working I am using surfshark. And it did also wok on openatv 7.4 from what I remember but that was a while ago.

I installed VPN Manager on new Pure2 7.4 image but it doesn't connect to the server, after a while the little globe changes to red. My STB is AB PULSe 4K, and VPN Manager working well on other images in multiboot (OpenATV 7.5.1 and with OpenWix 6.7 - with disabling OpenVPN resolv!).
Somebody posted bout this a year ago, no answers on that (Completely stumped - VPN Manager & SurfShark Manager) maybe there is a solution since then.

Yes. It worked. The plugin started immediately in Pure2 7.4.

On OpenWix if I have OpenVPN resolv enabled in settings, then my network crashes. With disabling this function it is working and network is OK as well. If I change this file in OpenWix as well like in PurE2, it can be solve this issue?
