ROFL... but check it... for example... to list of all network interfaces on your linux-system:

ifconfig

Check the "zt....." network interface in listing, i.e. ZeroTier as a virtual network interface.

So uninstall it. The ZeroTier network driver in your Enigma2 distribution may not work. Unfortunately. You need to ask the creators of your Enigma2 OpenViX distribution to compile the ZeroTier client for this Enigma2 OpenViX as well. However, it is possible that you are using the old version 6.0 ... and that 6.1 may already include the ZeroTier client as well. I don't really know.

Each Enigma2 definitely has some pros and cons.

In my opinion, OpenPLi is probably the best choice.

Hi paconassa2021 . If this package is not on the enigma2 feed server, it may be a problem. ZeroTier is very dependent on existing system libraries and also on the Linux kernel. Therefore, it is ideal if you use the ZeroTier that is on the enigma2 feed servers. If not, try to find out what Linux kernel you have and whether you have all the necessary dependencies installed on your Linux set-top box. Then, based on that, try to find an IPK package that might work. However, there are still many possible other problems, such as non-existent directories or changed directories... and so on.

Ok many thanks. So which enigma2 images have Zero Tier embebbed on feeds? Currently I’m using Egami 10.6 on VU+ Zero 4K and Zgemma H9S-SE. which image do you suggest to use on the box for the purpose share box remotely using Zero Tier? OpenPli?

OpenPLi and / or OpenATV

OpenPLi is very fast, because it does not contain too many pre-installed plugins... and also has very good support in English in the discussion forum.

OpenATV is, in my opinion, more beautiful in design with their MetrixHD SKIN. There is a built-in MyMetrixLite plugin that extends the configurability of MetrixHD SKIN, and if you are a SKIN developer and you know XML, you can also modify the built-in SKIN by injecting code using the OpenATV function called "skin-parts". OpenATV has also good debugging options for plugin developers. OpenATV has weaker support in the EN language and unfortunately the majority of the experience is in the DE language.

The decision is up to you. Of course, OpenPLi and their SKIN can be customized nicely. But in my opinion MetrixHD is a more beautiful SKIN.

I have zerotier active and installed on my Enigma2 box, I added to the same zerotier network other Enigma2 box under same image Egami and I want to connect this two boxes, located in different locations. How can I do it? I want to get the channels I have on my box at home on my other Enigma2 box. In my house I got my box running with oscam and working. I want same bouquet channels through zerotier to my other E2 box. Any help and suggestions how should I configure my second E2 box to get access my bouquets channels I have at home? How do I put IP on my second E2 box to get access to bouquets, last scanned and favourites of my box at home? How can I connect my two boxes with zerotier under zerotier network, I mean I got them already added to zerotier just don't know how to connect my E2 box at home to my other box located away to get channels.

Only work with FTA channels or works with premium channels? After connecting both boxes I need to configure oscam like I have on my home E2 box? Does anyone has tutorial how to connect two E2 boxes already added on same zerotier network?

Sorry, but you need to master the basics of computer networks. If you don't master them, then you won't be able to do it.

First of all, set or check the assignment of IP addresses, either via DHCP or a manually added IP address. You set all this in the ZeroTier Web-GUI.

Then you just need to use these IP addresses of the virtual network that you have assigned in ZeroTier.

If you want to connect with a desktop PC, then of course, you need to install the ZeroTier client on the PC and connect to your virtual network with the PC.

All on zerotier is done and set. Just need to put virtual generated IP from my main box on the other box.

I repeat again that you need to know at least the basics of working with computer networks. Without this knowledge you won't get far. Even if you manage to do it, there will still be a risk of poor network security and anyone (malicious person) will connect to you there.

Try using Linux Shell to simply see if a connection is established between the set-top boxes, which as you write, are already connected to the virtual network:

What I want is get access to the tunner on my main box(twin tunner) to have all channels(last scanned), bouquets and favourites. Then install oscam and cline. Two boxes two independent clines. I need to transfer or connect one of tunner of main box to the other one because I can't do it by cable or install dish.

I still don't know where you got stuck and where the problem occurred.
