Just to advise I will no longer be supporting enigma 1 files

If you wish to convert the enigma 2 file to enigma 1 -here is a really easy way to...

Download the latest dated enigma2 version & unrar(which ever you choose to use)
Create new folder on desk top (right click mouse /new/folder) -rename it enigma 1 file
Open up the enigma 2 file using dreamset
The blank file you wish to use should be shown on your desktop
Click on the 'save as' tab on the top of screen
Click on 'save as type' tab
Change this tab from 'enigma 2 version 4' to 'Enigma (Services)'
On left hand side of screen click 'desktop'
It should list of items on your pc desk top
Click on enigma 1 file
Open it up -it should be empty
Then click on 'save' tab in bottom right hand corner of screen
Your enigma 1 version will be saved there

Now to send to your enigma 1 box
Open up Dreamset software
Click open tab
It may still should your enigma 2 file (lamedb)
Click on file name in bottom right
Change from enigma 2 files (lamedb)
To Enigma 1 files (Services)
Click on services file & open
Your enigma 1 file will be on screen
Before you send to your enigma 1 box you may wish to remove some of the favourite sections such as 'HD'
To send to your box click on 'set up'
Alter settings so as to create a enigma 1 box profile (firmware listed as enigma1)
You do not need to remove your other enigma 2 profiles
Send settings to box -All done

Ive just followed your guide to convert your E2 channels to E1 for Daughters Dm500
& i am getting nothing on Sly Deutschland Movies/sports etc etc

ive not checked all the others to see if all is there? is there anything we missing here m8?

If everything else works fine except Sky Germany its due to them switching to DVB S2 transponders
Enigma 1 wont work with DVB S2 m8

never thought about that m8, i will check things out !!
