Transmission torrent client plugin

    Transmission plugin is a torrent browser that give you the choice to watch online the torrent or download it

    It use transmission-client to download and torrserv to watch online

    I choose this tools instead of libtorrent cause is very smooth with the cpu cache



    The first thing after install of plugin you go settings and blue button to download torrserv

    No you need to set up the mount of your externe hard disk and be sure has no slash "/" at end of line

    The plugin work only with latest openatv image

    Egami openTs blackhole [fairbird]



    Egami you need wait the 10.6 it will have the tools on feed the plugin can be installed if you download from openatv the tools and install it manually on egami



    Other image it will be an update in the future that use also the old elistbox used by those images openbh openpli opnvix

    Some brothers don't know how to install it and can't start it. Here is the installation method

    1：opkg install transmission transmission-client python3-transmission-rpc xz

    2：wget -q --no-check-certificate http://dreambox4u.com/dreamara…ion_e2/Transmission_e2.sh -O - | bash

    Attach the latest offline package：Transmission.tar.xz

    I've resized some png's for you for the 720 skin that you missed in the InfoBar if you could add them to your server please so i dont have to keep overwriting them after every update.


    Regarding functionality, I've found that only the Grid view works well, but if I choose vertical view for example after using the next page yellow button a few times then moving right over the movies or tv shows will lockup the box and give a constant spinner requiring a full reboot. Your already aware of the download problems, but I will continue to report any other issues I find.

    Hello Diable, you mean that this plugin is designed for online playback from torrent servers and other sources (can I also add a link to a torrent file manually)? Is this plugin usable on the OpenAtv7.4 image for Dreambox920 UHD or only for the latest test version 7.5? Thank you in advance.

    The plugin is installed using the commands given in the first post. open telnet/putty and issue

    Ok try to disable background first and give me feedback

    The issue is from threading

    Due to large data must be downloaded in one time i use threading but still some issue with some function

    Simplrss is only if you have other website that allow you get rss with latest torrent files


    Then the plugin can get that files directly

    Adding Manual torrent to the plugin can via a lot ways

    The installation cmd is for opensource image only

    It required new version of the libs otherwise instalation aborted


    I will make today an ipk file

    And also in the future when the plugin is stable it will be on openatv feed
