There used to be a box called a slingbox which would take any input and make it available over the internet. The other option is use the box's webif like you would on your own network but open portforward to allow access to your box. You could always just use iptv with something like a firestick.

There is a solution using the webif but you have to allow access to your box from outside your network. When we all use to have c lines we use to set up something called port forwarding. This allowed you to access your box externally. I know i did get access to my webif from outside my network but could not stream anything as at that time the internet was not fast enough. You have to set your router up to allow access to port forward to your box. There are guides on the internet. It includes setting up a static ip address too.

You need to say make and model of your router?

Aha a Trump supporter then, I need a bit more but can you say your country as well. Here is an example, I have a Router, its made by ASUS and the Model number is AX88CU. Official Orange tells me nothing.

Ok read this but you have to set a static IP on the DUO2 just turn off DHCP and restart network. Make a note of the IP of box. Then read this and the protocol is TCP.

If you are still stuck say what is confusing. It looks simple and it is and assign your own port number, like 12300.

But be warned opening ports is dodgy in this day and age.

I used to hack all the open ports on enigma2 boxes for fun. Especially when passwords weren't required.
And with the internet of things search engines they are so easy to find. (and in them days you could find them on google too)
Never did anything sinister though. Used to change the channel if the were watching football, or pop up messages saying they were streaming illegal content.
Sometimes if it was late I would turn the box onto a porn channel so when it would be on for breakfast.
If they were watching something scary like horror I would pop up a message saying "I am watching you"
Just stuff to amuse myself.

But yes, I could easily steal important details using a file broweser plugin.
CS lines in the softcam folders.
IPTV details from settings file or other etc folders.
