Help with first plugin

Hi everyone,

Anybody who can shine a little light on this? first time trying to create a Enigma2 plugin.

When running the file manually it executes how i want...

But when running it as a Plugin Enigma freezes and throws the spinning wheel.

Running on:

MutantHD51

Openvix 6.6.013

plugin.py

Anybody can point me in the right direction?

So what is the proper way of calling enigma to zap back after a given time to a saved reference?

Thanks but A.I. is not solving my problem.

What i'am trying to achieve is that when watching a show and the commercial break starts. I start the plugin by pressing let's say long blue the "commercial timer" starts running (let's say for 5 minutes), i can then zap to other channels and when the timer (commercial) ends it will zap back to the show i was watching.

Yeah found it already.. but thanks!

Installed the plugin for a quick test and it crashed enigma with some recording stuff.

Checking the code if i can use anything.

For now trying to get my idea to work.
