How to Convert MGCAMD line to OSCAM?

Sorry to drag up an old thread but it's pertinent to my problem,
I'm running oscam as server on my local lan and I have 2 tm500 receivers connecting via cccam but since switching to oscam
the tm500's freeze randomly for anything upto 10 secs.
my question is how can I use mgcamd on the tm500 receivers via my oscam server?

yup follow the above and make a reader with newcamd instead of cccam :)

OK thanks, I will try again this evening when I get home, so if I use the above configs as a guide It should work?

I see in post 2 above there are entries for 2 newcamd readers, what is the reason for that.

I`m facing the same issue I've converted mgcam line to oscam line and added it in oscam.server file but it isn't opening any channel.

Am I missing something?

All I see is people with problems because you all over complicate things, set up a basic reader then make changes to improve it when you understand what and why you are changing things.

After password add group and that is all you need.

Does it connect but not decode anything ?

I guess it connects but doesn't decode anything.

and use this option disableserverfilter = 1 only if you have one card on port.

if you have muti cards on port like 0500 or 0100 dont use it.
