    Can anyone see anything wrong with my configs that might be causing this error:
    open pli on enigma2, oscam build 9620 oscam and cccam, cccam sharing ok, just seems to be a card reader problem.

    You are using a separate CCcam as server, so dvbapi is not used because oscam is cardreader.. If you want to use oscam only without separate CCcam use the attached configs, they are already configured for UK card..

    Here are working configs for Oscam or Oscam & CCcam For SLY UK CAID 0963

  • I dont have a softcam manager, just a softcam setup with no option to select card reader.

    Thanks for the help, have to go ut for an hour, will read any replies when back.

  • changed to the configs you posted and seems better but still getting the odd error.

  • Got same message from Gigable 800 SE with Openvix 3

    Card reader configured for Oscam with mgcam 1.38 (with newcamd protocol)

    But I only get this error if DVB-Api is enabled

    But without DVB-Api enabled, local card is not used.

    So I just followed tutorial (first hit in Google) "Connect OScam with MGcamd" (changed newcamd to cccam) and...

    No more errors in Oscam

    Taken from that link you were talking about.. Thanks to the original author.

    First we need to enable CCcam function in OScam. Add these lines into oscam.conf file on your server:

    [cccam]
    port = 35699 or something else
    version = 2.3.0
    ignorereshare = 1 #this enables you to control reshare on account level

    CCcam is now enabled and now you need to create user in oscam.user file!

    [account]
    user = mguser
    pwd = mguser
    group = 1 #this depends on your oscam.server settings.
    cccmaxhops = 1
    cccreshare = 1

    Now we need to configure MGcamd which will be client to OScam server. I suggest that you read this article where you can also find correct files for running MGcamd on receiver. Remember this. MGcamd only understands CCcam if you use this setting in mg_cfg file:

    G: { 32 }

    Then you need to create cccamd.list file where you copy/paste C line. In our case it should look something like this:

    C: 192.168.1.100 35699 mguser mguser

    192.168.1.100 is IP of server where we are running OScam.

    This should be it. I hope you will be able to configure OScam and MGcamd and start to watch TV :)
