D.I.Y XBMC Pi-Tv

  • I came across some photos of this build that i had forgot about (made this in the summer)
    Total cost of parts just for this build was 2 quid. They were a a network coupler and a micro usb extension cable, the rest of the bits i had sitting about.
    I found the tv in the local dump 22inch no brand, took it home and all that was wrong with it was dodgy caps on the power supply, got them fixed in work for nothing.
    The DVD player didnt work on the tv but that wasn't important as it needed removed for the pi to go in.

    all unneeded parts and wires removed and pi installed

    I needed to make something to fill the gap the removed DVD player left and to fix the micro usb, network coupler and usb for the keyboard
    i used thick black card and used epoxy resin to glue them in

    I am running openelec on it and have to say its running very smoothly
