There are several options currently available for watching Sports on XBMC. We’ve tested many, and have a few to recommend. Sports definitely aren’t the strong suit for Kodi (yet) but you should still be able to watch most major sports and events, with quality that may differ. It should be noted that we’re constantly trying to improve add-ons, and in the future things should get easier.
Top Addons for Live Sports on Kodi or XBMC
1. USTVNOW (TVADDONS.ag Addon Repository)
Once you’ve registered (for free) at their web site, this add-on gives you legal access to ABC, CBS, CW, FOX, NBC, PBS, and My9 channels live. Just input your login details in Add-on Settings and you’ll be ready to go! It’s a legal service, so it’s very reliable, and is meant to be used anywhere in the world. It can be installed easily using our Addon Installer tool, and also comes preinstalled with our Config Wizard utility.
2. NBC Sports Live Extra (Kodi Add-on repository)
If you’re located in the United States (or Use a VPN) you can access quite a bit of live game coverage for NHL, Premier League, College Basketball, NBA, MLS, NASCAR, MLB and Golf. It’s a legal service provided by NBC, so it’s also quite reliable. Best part about it is it comes as part of the official Kodi repository, so it can be installed easily through the “Get More…” function within the regular “Video Add-ons” menu.
3. Phoenix (TVADDONS.ag Addon Repository)
Within this fairly new (yet quite popular) add-on, you’ll find curated live streams that serve different purposes. You’ll find different sports (including pay per view events) and live television channels depending on what playlist you choose to browse through, but we recommend starting at the bright orange “Phoenix TV” playlist and check out the “Sports” category. It comes preinstalled with our Config Wizard, or can be manually added using our Addon Installer tool.
4. Football Today (lambda Add-on repository)
You’ll find both live and prerecorded football games (or Soccer if you’re American lol) with high quality, reliable streaming options. It only offers football, but if that’s all you’re interested in, then it’s definitely a worthwhile option. It can be easily installed through our Addon Installer tool.
5. Navi-X (TVADDONS.ag Addon Repository)
It’s the oldest add-on for XBMC in existance, with tens of thousands of users enjoying it everyday. You’ll find hundreds of streaming video playlists which have been submitted and are updated by contributors across the globe. Because there is so much content, it is sometimes overwhelming and slightly difficult to find what you want, take your time and you probably will get used to it. We’d recommend starting off at the “Most-viewed 24 hours” listing category. It comes preinstalled with our Config Wizard, or can be manually added using our Addon Installer tool.
6. Cliq! (Blazetamer’s Repository)

We figured it to be a worthwhile mention, while it’s not the most comprehensive, it does have a sports section and also provides user contributed lists which you may or may not find useful. You might as well check it out if you can’t find what you’re looking for elsewhere. Aside from that it does have many other functions you’ll probably enjoy.
