Oscam setup help needed!

    Just got my head into setting up Oscam. Got a template from here for the 4 files needed for Sly UK and dropped them in etc/tuxbox after editing in my info


    Everything working great. Then I change a channel or switch on the box in the morning and doesn't seem to be working, unable to access web interface.


    Cam is shown as running. Stop/start the cam and still no joy. Got both oscam and oscam-latest installed, switch from one to the other and works again.


    Any ideas please?

    Im using OpenViX 3.2.021


    It is a virtual card/share in use. Two lines in server file


    Did notice yesterday in webif that it added /par on the end of all the lines in the server file


    Deleted all these through the webif and worked fine. Then stopped again. At work so can't check these files ATM


    Did set permissions to 755 via FTP also

    Remove any versions of oscam and configs you have added so far..


    Install oscam from here -> OSCam-svn11160.. Restart enigma2..


    FTP to /etc/tuxbox/config > Open oscam.server file > Copy/paste/save the lines.


    Start oscam and enable at startup from softcam manager.


    oscam webinterface can be accessed from http://ip.address.or.box:8888

    Right, set up and all running fine. Then watched a FTA channel for a bit, back to pay channel and doesn't clear?


    Tried to access webif and its like the cam isn't running, page not available. Stopped and started cam but nothing


    Edit: OK restarted it again and worked for a minute then stopped again

    Then just edit the oscam.server file and add my details. Do I keep what's in the file already and add new lines or delete and use just my info?


    Sorry for the noob questions but would really like to get this working. Lot more stable then other cams

    Make sure oscam is enabled for startup, if you don`t do this it won`t be running after a restart..


    The configs you linked to are for an actual card, you can use the configs that came with the ipk, or use the attached configs..

    Right. Started from scratch with a clean software flash and the oscam file provided above. Still not clearing, here's my log;

    Only thing I've done is the server config. Perhaps it's me here... Anyone have a template for a client version of this file?
