CCcam config directory is /etc.
CCcam won`t be able to read the CCcam.cfg in any other directory. So it won`t any difference if you have configs elsewhere.
Make sure CCcam is active and check CCcamInfo.

You`ve posted in oscam forum, can we assume its installed and you have activated it in the image softcam manager?
What does the live log in the oscam webinterface show?
What other oscam config files do you have?
oscam config files are in /etc/tuxbox/config, not /etc (unless you aren`t actually using oscam and have CCcam instead).
Which image is being used?
nothing happens after I enter these telnet commands
Maybe the image doesn`t have wget or curl dependencies to install the telnet script.
Try opkg install wget or opkg install curl
Thanks for all your help!!!
Providing a screenshot of the telnet output would help us assist you more effectively.
There is no ipk installer. You don`t really need one anyway if you know how to FTP into the Vu Duo2. The files are provided in the post i linked.
i think there is a conflict
Its looking for another dependency now.
Be careful installing anymore dependencies as it may break the old image. Take an image backup just in case.
All dependencies are HERE.
always this problem
The feed doesn`t have any of the necessary dependencies/modules.
See if the attached version will install.
What do you think?
You have to write a question to the admins of the discussion forum. For example: master G
Maybe it would be good if the thread with the picons was separated into several threads - according to the satellite position of a specific satellite or according to countries.
But it also has its disadvantages. Then there must be a moderator who will regularly sort out any disagreements. There are still many idiots who will put their contribution in any one where it does not belong. The moderator then has to move the contribution to the correct thread.
Another disadvantage is also inconsistency. For example, in Slovakia there are up to 3 or 4 SAT providers (I don't know, I don't follow it). Each of them uses similar and identical SAT stations - so identical picons. However, each provider broadcasts on a different position / satellite. For example, on the position 23.5E, 16.0E, and others. This would mean that everyone from Slovakia would have to search for the same picons (with different reference codes - PNG file names) on a different discussion thread.
So it's not easy.
Thank you for the thoughtful suggestions. Organizing updated picon sources is important, especially if Chochoulsek’s updates are finished. Let’s work together to create a system that’s user-friendly and sustainable.
Here’s my proposal:
Create a single, pinned thread titled “LinuxSat Community Picon Sources & Updates” as the main hub.
Use this for general announcements, guidelines, and cross-satellite discussions.
Include an index linking to satellite-specific sub-threads.
Split threads by satellite positions (e.g., 23.5E Picon Sources, 16.0E Picon Sources).
In each sub-thread, encourage contributors to tag providers/countries (e.g., “[UK]” or “[SKY UK]”) in post titles for easier searching.
Add a table in the first post and link it to the master thread.
Example entry:
Provider: Sky Italia | PNG: Sky Sport Moto GP.png | Channel reference | Satellite: 13E
Provider | PNG | Channel reference | Satellite |
Sky Italia | 1_0_19_250B_1900_FBFF_820000_0_0_0 | 13E |
We would welcome new moderators or active contributors for each sub-thread to help maintain consistency of the tables.
Enforce a posting template from each contributor (e.g., “Provider | PNG | Channel reference | Satellite”) would help reduce clutter and make it easier to maintain the table, (Example HERE).
"Report Content" button would be used for reporting off-topic contributions, which we would swiftly move to the master thread or appropriate forum.
Please add more suggestions for improvements.

Install the module for it.
whats the location for oscam patch tu place it via ftp?
The patch isn`t used the same way a config file is. It must be compiled with the oscam binary.
So unless you want to build oscam from scratch its pretty useless.
can i test it to see if it works?
Channels are listed inside the softcam.key file. Open it with notepad++.
How do i use it on my enigma2 box? With oscam, or should i put the softcam key file on some other location.
You`ll need oscam-emu - RE: Latest OscamEmu For ALL Images Mips Arm Sh4 IPK & DEB - DOWNLOAD ONLY NO CHAT
FTP the softcam.key to the same location as the rest of the oscam configs
what bouqets can i watch with this universal softcam key.
A channel list for motorised dishes ~ Enigma2 Channel List - Settings and Satellites.xml
We don`t provide any downloads for that.
If you have an Enigma2 device try Freeserver, Simple zoom panel, or CCcam free server downloader plugin.
Create one with Filezilla.
FTP to the oscam config directory
Right click in this directory - Create new file
Enter oscam.server - press OK
Right click on oscam.server file - File permissions
Give permissions as 644 - press OK
eskeengin i hope that code isn`t live. If it is you`ve just made it available for the whole forum to use.
LCD4Linux can be configured in a web browser - https://192.168.1.92/lcd4linux/config/ (192.168.1.92 is the ip address of your vu+ duo)
This firmware appears to be consistently problematic, and since we don`t have any of their official team members on this forum that are able to resolve these issues, I will redirect any future support inquiries to their official support channel ~ https://www.areadeltasat.net/
I wonder do I need to secure Webinterface
It would only become vulnerable if you were to open the http port in the router, allowing you and others access outside of the home network.
Login details and http port can be found in the oscam.conf file - [webif].
