Sorry If this is a stupid question but do you just install the backup image the same as an official image using a USB stick??

Try turning the softcam off and see if it does it then.

What I noticed on mine was, if you turn the softcam off and just use FTA it doesn't happen I have tried this both with oscam and cccam, so I don't know if the error is the softcam not agreeing with the image in some way.

My VU+ Uno 4k keeps locking up at random times of the day, when it happens there is no picture and the remote control doesn't work.

you have to power off the box and power it back on.

I am using open Vix image and Oscam Softcam.

Any advise would be much appreciated.

Well I thought I had it working , but I am still getting freezing and glitching, it is on caid 1841 the channel what freezes the most is National Geographic channel.

Is there anyone got a VU+UNO or VU+UNO SE working on caid 1841 with either oscam or cccam??

If anyone has could they be kind enough to share their set up i.e image used, cam used and settings??

Its driving me mad now!!! I'm ready to give up on it!!! I couldn't tell you how many images and cams and settings I have changed in the past two weeks, I have lost track.

So if anyone has managed to make these boxes work on caid 1841 please can you help.

anyone know how to delete a cam out of DreamOSat Cam manager once you have installed it if you don't want it anymore??

because if you install a higher version of any cam and you want to go to a lower version the cam manager won't let you install it.

Anyone having trouble with glitching and freezing with oscam on the VU+ Uno SE try the attached files.

I have loaded many images and many cams and the best I have found is modern oscam emu 1521 cam.

if you install the plugin satvenus-panel_7.0.0 and select other addons download/softcams/arm based softcams/modern oscam emus/ and select modern oscam emu 1521 of the image you are using you are good to go.

Copy oscam.user , oscam.config and oscam.server( edited with your details) into etc/tuxbox/config

if there is no config folder there create a new directory and name it config

put you oscam files in this folder then reboot box.

This has worked very well for me and hope it helps others

I wonder if anyone can help,

I have installed the dreamsat cam manager and managed to get oscam, gcam, and ncam working but I can't seem to get mgcamd working.

All the the other cam prooduce fileses in etc./tuxbox/config and I know with mgcamd you use a newcamd.list file and mg._cfg file nornally in the user/keys file but no dummie files appear and even if I insert the files in this folder it doesn't work.

Thanks, I have got it working as you say configured the same way as Oscam but the picture is still glitching.

If I use mgcamd it doesn't glitch, but after a period of time the picture just freezes solid.

That's why I was asking about the contents of the Ncam config file or Oscam config file.

Does anyone know if there is a working Ncam for pli image 6.1 and a tutorial of how to install and configure??

I have had a browse and can't seem to find anything.

I have installed enigma2-plugin-softcams-ncam-all-images_V3.3-r0_all.ipk

but it deosn't seem to work, I can get to the Ncam webpage by typing 192.xxx.x.xx:8181

but for some reason once I have installed Ncam I can't reach the boxes web page by typing the ip address in.

The box I am trying to get it to work on is Zgemma H5

I wonder if anyone can help and check that the oscam files in the attachment are set correctly.

I am using pli image 6.1 on a zgemma H5 and I downloaded the oscam from the plugins version 11400.

I am getting glitching, I was using mcamd but some channels just freeze and stay frozen, I don't get any staying frozen with oscam but I just get glitching.

The oscam panel where I get the lines from is also version 11400.

Any help would be much appreciated.
