Works for me, with Chrome,

You can install BUT you need to flash just after the image, the original SSL that is included, and then after replace the bcm7405 file in the driver folder, named extra (in /lib/modules/...),
To recover your box from a NO CA ERROR message, just use DreamUp and flash the original SSL or any original image or do as explained above.

Hi Toysoft...
I am looking for a media player compatible with this image that allows me to add subtitles to downloaded movies.
Any suggestions? Thanks
I cannot help, as I am not using, but anything that is working with openpli would be ok, as our version is a compile of the official git image.
TS
Okay thanks. The tuner isn't even detected.
I was hoping to be able to get debug logs for a reported ABM error for UK Terrestrial, so that workaround wouldn't be useful even if it worked.
Yes, if it's not detected as a normal DVB-S/S2 tuner, then yes it would mean that any old tuner (DM800HDpvr) would not be and so useless for that hardware, as you correctly deducted (and naturally the T and C would not work, if the S/S2 is not).
TS
The "clone Tripple Tuner" is in fact a single tuner, that switches from Cable to Sat to Terrestrial. It's a standard S Tuner. You could try to trick it with the Transponder/satellite xml file, to include the Terrestrial and Cable frequencies, but it will only do DVB-T (and not T2 which is in use in many countries and often they use H265 which is supported by the DM900).
So You can try that way, but there is no "plugin" ready to use to install (ipk) to manage the 3 inputs to the tuner.
TS
Yes, a lot of research, but there is no topic for the plugin designer.
OpenPLi DM8000HD is same as the official one, so just tell you would like the original they publish fixed on their support forum for their official DM8000HD image,

Hi
Is it possible to fix the openmultiboot plugin with this image-nfi?
DM8000HDpvr
You need to ask the authors of the plugin,
TS
There is around a package to flash it as from factory initialization of the Flash Memory... I think you should go that way.
TS
I replaced the files "Ci.pyc, CIHelper.pic and CList.pyc" in Image 5.5.1.003 downloaded from OpenATV 7.5.1 and managed to run the CAM ECP CI+ module.
Currently, Hdmi CEC and the Cam module are working so I can test :)
Can you post the old files, and post the new files here, so people can get them directly, just downloading here the attachment,

Display MoreHello,
Does anyone have experience with SRG v7 card from Switzerland?
I would like to know if it’s possible to run it on oscam, and if yes what is necessary.
Greetings 👋

Mr Toysoft...may you recommend a skin that is compatible with Xtraevent plugin with this image ?
I have no clue,
TS
You need to install from the feeds of the image, and you will have that "voice" on the setup menus added... where you can select the player you want for the streams, GStreamer or Exteplayer3/ffmpeg.
TS
Display MoreHello there!
Thanks for the image.
Any reason why I can't read "rtsp" files?
Must something install more of this image ?
Show only black screen and "NO DATA".
The same is functional on another - DM ONE 4K.
Best regards...
It's not the same image, on DreamOne 4k it's OpenPLi 9.xStar or OpenPLi 8.xStar, you should use the same for your other boxes if you want the same result.

ServiceApp (see on your box menus in the setup part, you will find it), could be a way to set which one you want to use,

The DM8000 has 256MB of flash memory, which is sufficient for current images.
The problem with this box—and all other older Dreamboxes—is that Dream Multimedia limited the image size in the bootloader. A maximum of only 100MB can be flashed.
Dream never removed this limitation, even after requests six years ago. Their response was simply: "Buy a new box, there are no more updates for the old ones."
So the image must be small enough to fit. If it's too large, using a Flash Expander on USB is a safe and practical alternative.
In fact, it's not 100 Mb... but 128 Mb. Our images OpenPLi 8.xStar, and 9.xStar, are around 120 Mb and can perfecly be flashed, then there is plenty of flash to add things by users after.
But above the 128 Mb limit... (including for backups), it will need another way to load the image such as multi-boot.
TS
Did you ever tried just to flash with a clean new image ? Instead of updating...
