I had a solo 2 that was fried after lightning strike and i decided to get a duo2 instead. i have downloaded and installed latest open black hole but am having probs installing some add ons one which I used a lot on my solo is Ts Media also media portal i have tried several times, tstube and a few others have intalled ok but these important 2 just wont install can anyone help me please Carmine

hi i recently changed my black hole image to the new VTI image which i like very much only thing is i cant find positioner in settings or service searching so cannot pull in sats could someone help please thanks for any advice

Hi I have downloaded the new nsteam file and unzipped it onto my computer but it is different form ipt so I am not sure how to install on my vu+solo2 with black black hole immage, can anyone help please, as I am very new to all this I would appreciate if it is made simple to understand thanks for any help and all the help and advice given in the past Carmine

thanks master G, managed to install ok but nothing seems to work, when you go into updater select country, message update bouquets and services for this country but installs nothing, is there something else I need to do to update these services, green button doesnt work or ok button thanks for all your help much appreciated Carmine

Says collected errors
cannot satify the following dependences udpxy, (cant see all the writing as cant enlarge the screen or move over)
opkg install cannot install package enigma2 plugin extensions
pkg run script returned package 1
opkg configure returned 1

thanks master G, I downloaded the last one of the files but I downloaded it to the reciever then tried the IPT updater again but still no luck. Do I nead to do something else with the file or do I need to try a different one, so gratefull for all your help sorry to be so useless thanks agaim Carmine

i havfe the solo2 and black hole image and am trying to install the latest iptv updater however I get eror mesages about dependences I see that others have also had probs and that a dependencies file is needed, can you tell me where to get the dependencies file relevant to my reciever and image, thanks in anticipation of any help Carmine

Im using the blackhole image, thanks for the reply I will look again ,however there were quite a few different versions I used the addons direct there also seemed to be a one that you used the usb for can you tell me which one is the best version for me thanks again for all your help Carmine

thanks master G flashed the backup image Ok, for the moment all looks ok, I havnt got a hard disk inside yet, it is on order, so Im wondering if I was trying to do too much without one, I will wait till it arrives before trying to download anything else. Hi thanks for the reply I have downloaded the backup fiile but as the video you advised was very blured couldnt make out the correct procedure for doing the flash, is there anywhere that shows the correct proceedure ,dont want to make any more mistakes, thanks again for your help much appreciated carmine

Hi thanks for the help, I have managed to download filezilla and do some file transfers to my reciever but I must have done something wrong as this morning the screen went green and shows the the message sorry your stb encountered a software problem ,and needs to be restated please send the logfile hdd / / to crashlog) tried restarting the reciever but no avail just keeps going between the black hole screen and the green screen and nothing else, can anyone tell me what I have done wrong and how to fix this problem thanks for any help and advice it really is much appreciated Carmine

thanks rami really appreciate your quick reply .just one thing Im not sure of, I see the files that you have included but still am not sure how you transfere these files to my vu reciever, do I put them on usb and download to the vu reciever or do I transfer from the computer via wi fi thanks again for your help
