  • DM8ooc crossepg not downloading epg

    Had to reflash dm00c, used Smirnoff rules image as never really had issues before with this. I did same thig I previously did and that was update the rytc source by FTP into box. Now when I shut down box and rextart, I go to update rytec sources and get error message saying "cannot retrieve rytec sources"


    this definitely worked before and I followed same process. Anyone have similar issue or recommend a better image that epg works.

  • gigablue quad plus vs vu+ duo2

    After reading countless posts I opted for the gigablue over the VU Duo2


    got this last week and had an arse about with it but needed an adapter for my cable feed as the cable connection on box isn't screw in.. its like aerial plug so got it set up earlier. Initially had a fuck up with the image, asked for openatv which it came with but no matter what I tried I couldn't FTP to box, so reflashed with openvix and that's whats running now. Downloaded the stuff I use for epg etc... pic from LCD screen on front of box

    Must admit the box is rapid at channel changes... easy enough to setup I suppose, if u know ur way around enigma2

  • looking for decent combo box

    I wont say money isn't an object but would like a decent box


    Currently have 2 x dm800, one satellite for motorised system and one for my cable.
    Now this can be a pain when I go to change channels as obviously, the one remote operates both boxes. I have considered changing one of them. But is there such a box that will allow both of best worlds?


    Will I get channlel listings for both satellite and cable? Im thinking as soon as I write one set of lists then when I write the other, it would overwrite existing and I wont get both.


    I really like the dreambox range and wondered about sunray sr4? Looing also at TM nano T3 and gigablue hd quad, although the latter is a tad pricey by time I add VAT.

  • How to switch from sly to vm

    Hope u get an answer here as that's whats holding me back from getting new box. Currently have 2 x dm800 and would rather dump both for all in one box. Just really unsure how channel lists will work and how I can switch between satellite and cable channels. I would have thought writing one bouquet would over write the other???

  • cant get sportdigital tv on 19.2e on TM500

    Now i know the channel isnt in HD so despite even trying manual scan using freq etc from king of sat I still cant pick this up.
    As soon as i put the details in boxes the signal just drops away. Also used same details from my DM800 and this picks it up no bother?


    anyone with any ideas?
