  • How To Extract VuPlus Image (root_cfe_auto.bin)

    There is a project called "ubi-reader"
    on GitHub (https://github.com/jrspruitt/ubi_reader)


    Dependencies:
    - A Linux system (Debian, ArchLinux, Ubuntu ...)


    Just follow the instructions.


    Install Dependencies:


    Code
    sudo apt-get install liblzo2-dev
sudo apt-get install python-lzo
git clone https://github.com/jrspruitt/ubi_reader
cd ubi_reader
sudo python setup.py install

    Extract the complete root image:

    Code
    cd / PATH / TO / IMAGE
ubireader_extract_files [COLOR=red]root_cfe_auto.bin [COLOR=blue]<-(we need to extract this file)[/COLOR][/COLOR]

    The root filesystem can be found in the directory "ubifs-root".



    Tested be myself and working.

    update to 4.3.0r12:

    - fixed PiconResolver crash on invalid servicereferences
    - fixed crash in MediaCenters File Browser
    - hide pseudo infobar when hiding channellist in standard radio mode
    - save some more videoram by "unfullscreening" rds info display (helps on dm520, 3rd party skins have to be fixed by their maintainers)
    - fix endless recursion in config screens due to some backwardscompatiblity issues introduced by the summary screen changes
    - revert accidential swig update


    update dm520 hardware drivers
    hbbtv-plugin: push to r3 (new compile needed because enigma2 header change)
    dont generate streamserver package on dreamboxes without encoder
    update to newest libdreamdvd commit (subtitle handling)
    port dvdspu timestamps, implement matroska streamids


    update enigma2-tspanel to 3.0-r42.0
    update enigma2-skin-ts-metrixfhd to 1.0-r10.0

  • Exodus crashing ImportError: No module named pysqlite

    i had a same crash



    i installed python-sqlite3


    Code
    opkg install python-sqlite3


    and now is working

    Place your IPK files here then run IPKFeedGenerator.jar


    It will create Packages and Packages.gz for you

    As you know you can run a jar file in any operating system (Windows, Linux, macOS, ...) because it's Java


    I did compile it with Java 8u102/NetBeans 8.1 so you need JRE 1.8.x


    Enjoy creating IPK feeds
