    I am from Albania.

And thanks for giving me hope.

As I mentioned, when I boot with the usb stick inserted, nothing happens. There is no sign of life. Just the blue led. Not another led is lit. Like the ethernet or any other in the motherboard.

Is there any specific image or procedure I can try?

    Thanks!

I have tried two other ps. The same. When I try to flash nothing happens. Nothing shows in thw screen. Seems completely dead except for the blue led which is strange

    Hi,

My solo 4k was working ok. Then a suden reboot, and now I only have the blue led in front. Nothing on the screen and not even a single light except for the blue led in front. Is it dead?

    Sorry for the missunderstanding.

Yes I have a triple tuner from dmm. 2xdvb-s2x+ dvb-t/t2 without multistream capabilities.

And it works perfectly in oatv 6.1 for blind scanning dvb-s2.

I have also an external usb tuner tbs 5925 that does multistream and blind scanning works perfectly

I think alb misunderstood your question.

I've been to the end of the interwebs and back and can't ascertain if the dm900 has a functioning blindscan with the new tuners, the old tuners or any in between! Anyone that has one of these feel free to chime in with a definitive answer.

Nope. I didn't misunderstand(or maybe I did:-). The blind scan for multistream simply isn't possible because there are a lot of parameters and their combinations will take forever to complete.

It's just like blind scan works. It's kinda brute force for passwords. Everything depends on the number of combinations.

    Just to make it simple:

For one frequency let's say 10200 it will check for available transponder for horizontal/vertical and FEC 1/2-9/10 QPSK/8PSK

For multistream there are far more combinations for one frequency

Seems quite impossible as the ranges are simply too big.

A "normal" blind scan will search each frequency for each FEC and horizontal/vertical,

meanwhile a multistream scan would mean this PLUS all numbers for Gold and Root.

Sorry.. .but you have a dream 900 uhd and uses blindscan?

Yes. I have a DM900 with triple tuner.

Blind Scan works perfectly with DVB-S2 tuner.

I have also an USB TBS tuner which does multistream, but I wouldn't ask for blind scan on that tuner because of the reasons I said before

Seems quite impossible as the ranges are simply too big.

A "normal" blind scan will search each frequency for each FEC and horizontal/vertical,

meanwhile a multistream scan would mean this PLUS all numbers for Gold and Root.

    What about support for flash?

I do not want to use external USB.

I was told that it is possible for BarryAllen to use the 3GB /data partition of DM900.

Anyone can help me to achieve this?

    Thanks!

I send the comand via telnet and unfortunately I di not have /data mounted and the problem is I do not know how to mount it :-(

    Can you help please?

    Another question:

After mounting is it possible to use it for multiboot?

    Tnx

I have read elsewhere and I got the same idea.

1GB RAM is reserved for video and only 1GB of flash is mounted.

There are apparently two partitions of flash.

I will try to mount the second tonight.

Thanks a lot for your reply!

I have just received and installed a new dm900 from Germany.

I installed open atv 6.1 backup of Master G.

The problem I got is that my box shows only 1GB RAM and 1 GB Flash.

Is there a problem with the drivers or any other known problem?

Also, I tried to see whether this is a genuine Dreambox, but in the plugin I get "Security Service is not running"

    Thanks for any suggestion

    master G

Your backup images are so good that they have only one problem:-)

We become dependent on your next update.

I have been using this image since the beginning, but now it is obsolete, and it doesn't accept online updates anymore.

When can we expect an Open ATV 6.1, Kodi 17.4 image?

Thanks a lot for you efforts!
