I've tried reading up on this on a few different websites/forums and there seems to be quite a bit of contradictory or not all that helpful 'advice' out there on what exactly you have to do. I'm not fussed at the moment about opening oodles of foreign channels, just wanting to access the odd sporting event that comes up on 28E (like the City game last night for example). Is anybody able to give me a fairly easy guide to follow on how to go about adding my keys to the softcams (and how exactly I find the sid, pid etc, I don't really know where to look for these)?

I have tried to work it out for myself but to be honest I have no idea what I'm doing.

Got EPG for SS Football HD for a little while but it seems to have gone missing again, and for Main Event HD. Also missing Cinema Hits HD. Is there any way I can change things myself so i can fix it without having to bother you?

Not getting EPG on Sky Sports Mix HD, SS Football HD or 4SevenHD. Only channels on my entire EPG without data, and the first time I’ve ever had fully working cable EPG, so thank you for this.

I have an XML file on my receiver that puts channel numbers into the service name so that BBC One HD becomes 101 BBC One HD, but I have a set of SNPs I used to use before I added this that I'd like to continue using.

Is it possible to just use a script from AB28.2 to convert the picons to SRP? as I prefer to use ABM as a bouquet creator.

I've tried EPG Importer, EPG Refresh and CrossEPG, and all possible combinations of these, in order to try and get it working.

What's the Virgin EPG patch? is that the "enable Virgin EPG" option in the EPG setup? as I do have that enabled.

No matter what I do I can't get certain channels to have the correct EPG data on my VM side. It's always the same ones, as well. I've tried all manner of combinations of plugins that people have told me to try but I still get Judge Judy on Sky Hits HD and some random documentary channel showing up on the BT Sport 3 HD EPG line. Can anybody give me a solid suggestion? I've tried on both the latest Vix and OpenATV images, on a Gigablue if it makes any difference.

received this receiver today but it just won't pick up any VM channels on the twin cable tuner. I can't imagine it's my Net ID or the cable itself as I had it running perfectly on a Venton this morning and I haven't changed anything, so I've no idea what I'm doing wrong?
