Like I said above I spent many hours on this editing both files and renaming folders ect and I never succeeded in getting it to work from Sat to Sat.
It only ever worked from Sat to Cable.
It really would be a handy thing though if it can be made to work.
I never did manage to ever get the alias file to work on Sat. I only managed to get it to work on Virgin following your instructions jenseneverest back when we still had Virgin.
It would be very handy if you could post something similar for Sat channels.
For example most of Total TV EPG is in English and it would be nice to apply this EPG to other packages that carry the same channels.

Far too many things are starting to head towards this, Enigma2 is open source, it always has been and things are done as a hobby and given freely to the community. Imagine if image writers started to think this way !
I've already hacked the HistoryZapSelector plugin because the author of that has started charging for the EPG translation, but so far I've kept that to myself for my own personal use.
I find the whole concept of paying for things that are supposed to be open source discraceful .
Yes its greatly missed so I applaud your efforts. I sadly dont have any freetime these days due to work to help out. Christ I've not even flashed a new image in nearly 18 months due to time restraints.

Attached is a screenshot from my Oscam Status plugin. Can someone please enlighten me as to what the numbers mean after the P ? I know P stands for proxy, L stands for Local and F stands for fallback but what do the 3 sets of numbers mean ? Its been bugging me for years.
The plugin seriously needs work though, its far from complete and crashes a hell of a lot, but I dont believe the author is willing to put in the time and effort to fix all the many bugs it has.
I posted earlier that with ATV 7.5.1 the downloading is working, well it was, but now its just stopped working again all on its own, I've done absolutely nothing to cause it to stop working, one day it did, the next its broken again.
Its such a shame, because this has the potential to be one of the best plugins ever, but the author isnt even answering on here any longer. So it seems that without the source files being public so we can work on the plugin and develop it further, what we have now with all its bugs is all we are going to get.

Both search and catergories return nothing. Also its not possible to exit the plugin either. You have to force an E2 restart from telnet.
I've just updated to ATV 7.5.1 and I thought I would let you know that downloading from Transmission in this image works. Although its not possible to change the download directory from the default. Other than that downloading works great.
Has development on this plugin ended ? Its been quite sometime since you last posted about this plugin.
Sadly all the issues relating to TV shows are still present.
I was really hoping they would be resolved with this new update. For example using anything other than grid view will crash or lock up the box and if you search for a TV show that isnt found this too crashes the box.
The fact that only grid view will work without crashing the box and that the OBH elist box is too old to support grid view means that any user using OBH cannot use TV shows at all. Movies will also often crash/lockup the box too unless grid view is used.
Any news on the new version you mentioned would be available this Weekend ?
I bet your using a Vbox ?
If you are its experiencing interference at certain frequecies due to inadequate sheilding around the power supply and LNB cable inputs, usually around 11680 in the low band and 12430 in the high band, give or take a few hundred MHZ either way. It wont just be 30W either, it will also happen on other sats too around these frequencies, youve just not noticed yet. This can be caused by a nearby DECT phone , either your own or next doors. I had this issue too and the only solution I found was to wrap the Vbox in tin foil. It wasnt practical for me to move the Vbox somewhere else in the house and I do not have a DECT phone to move elsewhere, but moving the Vbox would probably have worked too.
If you have a DECT phone then just move that away from the Vbox, if not try the tin foil, it really does work.
If you can be bothered make a Faraday cage for the Vbox, this would be by far the best solution, but might be a bit expensive, if you were to buy a ready made one rather than making one yourself. Other than that your only solution is to buy a new Vbox with better sheilding, but finding new gear for those of us using proper dishes and mounts is getting harder and harder so the prices have rocketed.
You might get £70-£80 for it if your lucky and someone needs one right now.
I'd buy it for that to keep as a spare if I didnt have a brand new one in the cupboard upstairs ready for when my existing one fails.
Its still too expensive.
I've explained to you a brand new one can be bought for around £70 and that the only thing that will go wrong with it is the bearing which costs £3 for a hardened steel bearing, so why would anyone pay £150 for a 2nd hand one ?
I understand you paid a lot of money for it from America, but sadly for you, what you paid has no relevance on what a 2nd hand actuator is worth to others today.
Ah ok thats a typo in the transmission plugin code then stating TMDB, when in fact it uses TMBD
Well spotted. It never crossed my mind to try TMBD with transmission stating that TMDB was not installed lol.
Your problem could be so many things from a simple issue like your ISP or country blocking torrents and therefore needing to use a VPN to other issues such as Serviceapp and selecting the correct player and settings, it could even be down to not having enough cache space so the stream never starts.
Its impossible to say without you providing logs of whats happening when you start to play a torrent. I would first go to the transmission webif and get the torrent link and see if it plays in your browser. then systematically move on from there.
Do the trailers work for anyone else ?
For me it states TMDb isnt installed, but it is installed and works perfectly for all other plugins and the images EPG as well.

I will remove the buffer folder and see it it fixes the crash.
EDIT: Yep that seems to have fixed it. Nice one.
It would be neater though if the buffer could have its own folder.
Its great now I can jump forward because now the buffer is located on my HDD , after 2 or 3 mins the entire movie or tv show is now in the buffer.
However it has shown a problem.
If you jump forward everything is fine until you try to exit the player. Once you do it crashes. It seems that the player is not taking note of the jump forward in position and therefore is getting confused.
