Just tried this for the first time and instantly found a bug
If you create a folder in the menu's to contain your providers in so they dont fill up the channels lists, then EPGImporter fails to import any EPG
All is fine if you allow the plugin to add the created lists directly to your channel lists.
Its an image problem with 7.3 and its been there a very long time.
I had to add elabels to my skin on certain screens in order to get the yellow and blue buttons to show.
On other screens its the green thats missing so I had to add elables there too , yet on some screens all buttons are there, its crazy.

I've told you what it is, its interference from a noisy piece of equipment ( most commonly a vbox ) or a nearby DECT phone, that may even be next door.
You need to isolate which piece of equipment is generating the noise and then move it away from your sat box.
This problem is incredibly common and always on the frequency you mentioned and is caused by cheep Chineese electronic parts with inadaquate shielding.
I bet your using a Vbox ?
If you are its experiencing interference at certain frequecies due to inadequate sheilding around the power supply and LNB cable inputs, usually around 11680 in the low band and 12430 in the high band, give or take a few hundred MHZ either way. It wont just be 28E either, it will also happen on other sats too around these frequencies, youve just not noticed yet. This can be caused by a nearby DECT phone , either your own or next doors. I had this issue too and the only solution I found was to wrap the Vbox in tin foil. It wasnt practical for me to move the Vbox somewhere else in the house and I do not have a DECT phone to move elsewhere, but moving the Vbox would probably have worked too.
If you have a DECT phone then just move that away from the Vbox, if not try the tin foil, it really does work.
If you can be bothered make a Faraday cage for the Vbox, this would be by far the best solution, but might be a bit expensive, if you were to buy a ready made one rather than making one yourself. Other than that your only solution is to buy a new Vbox with better sheilding, but finding new gear for those of us using proper dishes and mounts is getting harder and harder so the prices have rocketed.
Regarding you saying you will explain how to setup a server for Italia and Germany, thats the first thing I did on the very day the keys were first released in order to get around the Enigma2 boxes inability to play the streams. At this time ffmpeg r2 had not been released. But of course only Sky UK worked because the problem of ffmpeg 6.xx not understanding MSS still remains, because 90% of Linux servers use ffmpeg. Without any new working Sky UK keys coming, I've now removed all the UK channels from this server as its pointless keeping them.
It will be interesting to see how you get around this ffmpeg problem for the MSS streams.
I understand your goal, you want them to give you a challenge, but instead of people on here paying someone for the keys that are available again,
why not explain how we can obtain them, for ourselves, its all about learning to do things for yourself rather than relying on the generosity of others.
Regarding UK keys, I'll give Sky a break

Ok but the proof in what I say will be that this thread will just die, when everyone eventually realises that the Italian and German keys cannot be used on an Enigma2 box and that whats left from Sky Uk is not worth the effort.
It might take a few weeks but it will happen.
Not sure if you realized that you can watch all italian and germany channels for free still, and half of the UK channels without any problem

Sadly this is not the case when using an Enigma2 box. ffmpeg simply cannot cannot understand MSS
Only Sky UK is ok when using an Enigma2 box as Sky UK uses DASH and at least 50% of that is now down and needing new keys. So all of this is now pretty much a waste of time now until new keys are posted.

The keys will be updated (by me) when they've changed them all & if they can still be grabbed exactly the same way they got grabbed.
So far they just changed some of them, and only in UK.
Please note also that I am not 100% interested in bashing Sky till the dead (that wasn't at all my goal in the beginning as many of you probably understood) and that I am not the only one who found out how to grab those decryptions keys using simply a Widevine certificate (in fact I've found that out way after the real "pirates" did)
Aaaand nothing stops you from saving the READMEs just incase so you don't lose them

Why wait to update the Sky UK keys ? I think everyone will be waiting a long time if you do, Sky UK always operate like this, only changing part of something in order to make people do exactly what you are doing and wait, meaning people cannot enjoy things properly. This tactic has been used by them for years and I doubt it will change now.

TLDR from what I've already written: Germany and Italy have PlayReady-only streams, but theres a widevine license URL that provides the keys using widevine of course instead of PlayReady.
UK has also Widevine officially enabled, so I don't see UK having even the possibility to fix this anytime soon (even if they change keys, someone will grab them again). But other countries can fix this issue within 24 hours.
Not to mention that change encryption keys takes literally 30 seconds :)
Widevine should be completely removed or atleast redesigned immediately, but that's not possible cause devices have burned certificates inside and broadcasters can't simply make their apps not working anymore on most of the devices.
Apparently Sky has something REALLY wrong inside to don't take any action against that. But that's not my business.
I've warned them and gave them also a LOT of other intel (not everything has been published in the articles), so enjoy the streams for free directly from their CDNs cause I don't see them taking any action in the near future.
We cant enjoy them lol, something has changed on many of the channels, all they do is pixelate which suggests a key change. However if you say this is not possible then theyve changed something else already. Some channels still work but many do not from this morning.

I've tried everything I can think of when using these type of streaming plugins and I just cannot get the display to show the progressbar for the EPG. Everything else works in the display, picons, clock ect, just not the progressbar. If you have cracked this problem can you please share your code. Thanks.
i have tried to skin the display but i found a problem, it does not read the skin from plugin skin you have to put the skin in skin_display so i stopped , i will try later to show the progressbar and see
Yep tried that too, hacked the skin display.xml adding all that I thought would be needed to make it work, but it still wouldnt. The progress for Live channels is fine in the Infobar onscreen, yet the same code when added to the skin display.xml just does not work hence me asking if you have had any luck because I'm simply out of ideas.
This problem exists in all of these type of plugins, no one as yet has managed to figure it out. For example the problem is there with kiddac's xsteamity too.

Ok I'm not going to get into this as this could become a really silly and pointless argument.
But please tell me the point of this commit, its a typical example and there are many more just like it, its commits such as these that I'm refering to. This one doesnt break anything in any plugins, but many others similar to this have.

Anyway this is going off on a tangent, I just thought Kiddac's post made a valid point and I said as much, thats all.
Well if we just had one image instead of all these multiple hybrid teams, maybe the developers between them could create a great image that just worked instead of all this bitching. The entire enigma2 scene is pretty much broken, full of dangerous developers making too many wreckless decisions based on their personal opinion and ignoring years worth of plugins and skins that are now all breaking. (oh I will just change this variable name for no reason, oh I will just change this function name for no reason, I will just refactor all this code and break everything, for no reason) All these teams are to blame trying to out do each other with complete random code that only works on their builds or senior devs copying over broken, useless code to their builds. Nothing can really be classed as based on oe-alliance. It is becoming nearly impossible to create plugins that work on 2 different images never mind all images. Half the teams have gone python 3, several images are still stuck in the past on python 2.7. It is a complete mess.
The word 'open' should be removed from all the teams. (and VTI should just die - as that is the worst of the lot)

You have interference. Its probably caused by a DECT phone nearby, either yours or next doors.
I have the same problem on those frequencies, but mine comes from my vbox 11 which ive cured by wrapping it in tin foil, effectively making my own Faraday cage. You simply need to source which item of equipment is causing the problem and either move it or isolate it as I have done.
My box is VU+ too and they dont seem to be particilarly well shielded from this type of thing.
Im sorry to have to report that the new v7 patch breaks the fallback tuner. So dont use it.
v6 works fine but v7 wont stay connected. The log states no data from stream source, then disconnects and then reconnects again constantly making it impossible to use.
