    I received the sat finder this afternoon and now back on 28.2.

    The SATLink WS-6933 Satellite Meter DVB-S/S2 is soooooo easy to use. Especially when my dish has a multi lmb.

    Connected the lmb feed that isn't controlling the motor to the finder. Set the finder to 28.2 then moved the dish manually and await the finders beeps.

    A really decent piece of kit.

    Can anyone give me a step by step guide for setting up a positioner?

    The manual doesn't cover it.

    I tried moving the dish east to west and looking forward a signal spike for 28.2 in the positioner setup SNR: but I didn't see a blip.

    Is there a way to setup the positioner without first locating a satellite.

    I tried setting the tuner with sat for 19 & 28.2 e and then a scan but all that did was move the dish west, east and back to west again.

    Get a little frustrated.

    I'll get a satfinder off Amazon and see if my neighbour will climb the ladder.

    It's hard having to rely on others for things you could previously do yourself.

    Your right.

    The dish moved, which is odd as I've not had need to move it at all since before having the vu+ solo 6 years ago.

    I had both tuners set to Advanced with Satellite set to 28.2 before this hiccup.

    As the image I flashed was setup for a motorised dish I can now see that by scrolling through the EPG I could of inadvertently click on a different sat bouquet.

    So I have now setup my location with long/lat in Tuner setup for USUALS (I'm sure the motor can use DiSEqC but no idea how to set it up)

    I read a few tutorials but not one that actually got me back up and running again.

    I can move the dish manually via the positioner setup.

    The tuner and positioner setup seems easy but I'm obviously missing something.

    If I can't get it back to 28.2 I can always get an installer to sit on a ladder with his tuner plugged in as I move the dish manually.

    Hi guys.

    I'm getting my head around the solo4k.

    I like the blackhole image but not its epg layout.

    I had openvix on my original solo.

    So it looks like every image has its own oscam version.

    I'm using openvix-4.2.001.release-vusolo4k_usb

    Which oscam do I need?

    I've tried a few, including the one I used with blackhole but no joy.

    Didn't realise openvix had dl softcams.

    Thanks again guys.

    Spoke too soon.

    My Picture is freezing between 1 to 3 minutes.

    Is there any tweeking for oscam on my vu+ solo4k?

    Just plugged in my vu+ solo and no freezing.

    The CCcam converter created the below.

    [reader]
    label=first
    enable=1
    protocol=cccam
    device=***********,*****
    user=*****
    password=*****
    cccversion=2.1.2
    group=1
    inactivitytimeout=1
    reconnecttimeout=30
    lb_weight=100
    cccmaxhops=10
    ccckeepalive=1
    cccwantemu=0

    [reader]
    label=second
    enable=1
    protocol=cccam
    device=***********,*****
    user=*****
    password=*****
    cccversion=2.1.2
    group=1
    inactivitytimeout=1
    reconnecttimeout=30
    lb_weight=100
    cccmaxhops=10
    ccckeepalive=1

    It didn't create a user file or other areas of the server file.

    Picture freezes every 1 to 3 mins for 1/2 an hour then freezes and won't unfreeze for 5 to 7 mins.

    Getting a little frustrated.

    Hi all.

    New to vu+ solo 4k.

    I've installed enigma2-plugin-cams-oscam-svn11196_blackhole_armv7ahf-vfp-neon.

    I've used CCcam-Converter_1.2 but it only creates the oscam.server file. It didn't create the oscam.user file.

    Also it only used one of my c-lines (I have 2).

    The web interface isn't working either.

    I've read other posts but none are a mirror image to my issie.

    A little help.

    Hi guys.

    I finally got round to moving from a VIX image and on to Open Black Hole.

    Only issue and it's a biggie I'm stuck on a blue screen with Vu+ OPEN Black Hole booting...

    There's a flashing circle in the top lh corner.

    The remote works in as much as the green led flashes on the receiver but nothing happens.

    Any ideas?

    Hi All.

    I have done a fresh install of a debian distro and used the tutorial for oscam + single cccam server
    http://linuxsat-support.com/sh…d-3-running-CCcam-servers

    I was following this tutorial http://linuxsat-support.com/showthread.php?t=1712
    to install my Omnikey 3121 and the lines below are not in opensc.conf

    ----------------------------------------------------------
    #reader_drivers = pcsc, ctapi;
    #try_emulation_first = yes;
    #lock_login = false;

    Remove this line; (why remove it's already #)

    #provider_library = /lib/libpcsclite.so.1
    ------------------------------------------------------------

    # The following section shows definitions for PC/SC readers.
    reader_driver pcsc {
    # Limit command and response sizes.
    # Default: max_send_size = 255, max_recv_size = 256;
    # max_send_size = 0;
    # max_recv_size = 0;
    #
    # Connect to reader in exclusive mode?
    # Default: false
    # connect_exclusive = true;
    #
    # What to do when disconnecting from a card (SCardDisconnect)
    # Valid values: leave, reset, unpower.
    # Default: reset
    # disconnect_action = unpower;
    #
    # What to do at the end of a transaction (SCardEndTransaction)
    # Valid values: leave, reset, unpower.
    # Default: leave
    # transaction_end_action = reset;
    #
    # What to do when reconnection to a card (SCardReconnect)
    # Valid values: leave, reset, unpower.
    # Note that this affects only the internal reconnect (after a SCARD_W_RESET_CARD).
    # A forced reset via sc_reset() always does a full powerup.
    # Default: leave
    # reconnect_action = reset;
    #
    # Enable pinpad if detected (PC/SC v2.0.2 Part 10)
    # Default: true
    # enable_pinpad = false;
    #
    # Use specific pcsc provider.
    # Default: libpcsclite.so.1
    # provider_library = libpcsclite.so.1
    }

    The pcscd file is editable as to the tutorial DAEMON_ARGS="-e"

    So if I'm missing something, probably am, a little help please.

    Hi.

    Thanks for the quick reply.

    I had tried that before, unfortunately it gives an ERROR under the card reader heading.

    On some reading, the protocal set to mouse relates to USB card readers (I could be wrong, I usually am) mine is a serial on com1 with USB for power.

    I'm curious if the nftytool driver pack is the cause.

    Also do you know how I can edit the Device Out Endpoint to
    change this to "0x81: Infinity USB Smart"

    Thanks again,
    hombre
