I have this problem every once in a while too. You can power down the receiver with the white on/off switch at the back of the receiver and wait about 20-30 seconds for residual voltages on the circuit board to discharge. Then power back on. You may have to do this a few times but your tuner C will be detected eventually, if it is the same problem I experience with my receiver.

Does this information from my source file "myiptv.sources.xml" located in "/etc/epgimport" help?

Hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I have searched this forum and many other forums but can't figure this out.

    Thanks

Hello, I'm finding that EPG URL's with a xml.gz file extension won't populate EPG data. EPG URL's with a .xml extension do populate. I'm using EPG-Importer plugin on OpenVix.

If I test the EPG links in a web browser, I can see EPG data for the links ending with .xml but links ending with xml.gz open a window asking me if I want to open the file with Archive Manager.

I suspect I need to install a plugin on OpenVix so that it can extract the EPG data from the compressed file.

I see many EPG links with a xml.gz extension posted so I must be missing something.

Here is the link I'm having trouble with https://cutt.ly/DSr95Combinedepg

Here is an image of the EPG Import sources before IPTV Bouquet Maker channel list update.

This is the EPG Import source file after the IPTV Bouquet Maker channel update. See how it has changed from the file I showed in post #4. The EPG URL's are gone now. IPTV Bouquet Maker writes over the source file in EPG Import.

My challenge is finding a way to prevent IPTV Bouquet Maker from writing over the EPG Import sources or to find a way to enter EPG URL's in my IPTV Bouquets Maker config.xml file so that my EPG Import sources remains the same as shown in image 1.

Thank you for the reply, much appreciated.

Yes, I did create my own source.xml by editing the one that was there by default. I named it "suls_iptv_f2v.sources.xml".

    It points to ""

It is in the etc/epgimport folder and is enabled in epgimport sources. I can update my guide by running the epgimport plugin.

Over time, the IPTV provider will update the m3u playlist and I'll need to update it. I use IPTV Bouquet Maker plugin to update my m3u playlist and when I run that plugin, it over writes the "suls_iptv_f2v.sources.xml" file in epgimport with the epg source in the IPTV Bouquet Maker config.xml file located in "/etc/enigma2/e2m3u2bouquet/".

Here is my "suls_iptv_f2v.sources.xml" file... As you can see there are 5 epg URL's pointing to 1 channels file. Hoping to find a way to config IPTV Bouquet Maker to match the multiple epg sources in epgimport.

https://i.mjh.nz/PlutoTV/all.xml

    </sourcecat>

    </sources>

I solved part of my problem by editing the "suls_iptv_provider_name.sources.xml" file located in "/etc/epgimport/". I was able to add all my EPG URL's and update my channels using the EPG-Importer plugin.

Now when I create bouquets with IPTV Bouquet Maker, the sources in EPG-Importer are replaced with the EPG in IPTV Bouquet Maker.

My question now... How do I enter multiple EPG URL's into the config file for IPTV Bouquet Maker located here "/etc/enigma2/e2m3u2bouquet/" so that EPG-Importer keeps the same list of sources after running IPTV Bouquet Maker?

Hello, I'd like to ask this question again with a bit more clarity.

Is there an EPG plugin or EPG setting that allows more than one EPG source for one provider?

I have one URL for the m3u playlist and six different URL's for the xml channel guides. All the EPG plugins I looked at only allow one EPG URL for each M3U URL.

    Thanks,

    1) Is your LNB:

-single LNB (one cable coming out of it), Yes

-Twin or dual LNB (2 cables coming into the house), No

-QUAD or Quattro LNB (4 cables coming out of it)?, Old LNB yes, new LNB No

    2) Do you have a cable in each DVB/S tuners or just one (and you are moving it around)?, One cable moving from tuner A to B

    3) Try redoing the connector at both ends, just in case, on all cables. Connectors are good. I use cable and connectors from a cable TV company I work for.

    4) Unplug all other USB devices from your Zgemma H7., No other USB devices attached

    5) Try a different LNB with which it worked before. My new universal LNB works fine

    6) Scanning doesn't have to be blind, if you have a good xml with all the TPs., I understand, I have a good xml, I scan manually and blind scan

    7) Did you try using a professional to set it up? They usually have instruments to remove the obvious obstacles... I have 33 years experience in radio and telecommunications in various roles. I have a very good understanding of how to install, setup and troubleshoot the hardware. Unfortunately, I don't have access to a spectrum analyser or oscilloscope these days to troubleshoot with but I have isolated the problem to tuner A.

Whether the problem is hardware related or firmware/software related is not known. What I do know is tuner A does not work and tuner B does with the same xml, config settings and hardware (connector, coax, stab motor, LNB and dish).

I appreciate your suggestions and how much you are trying to help. I'll settle on the fact that it works on tuner B and maybe try looking deeper into it over the winter as time permits. I'll report any new findings that will be helpful to others.

    Thanks again

Hello Gorski, I tried tromo's suggestion but no luck. My tuner A will not work. I have a good xml file and I'm able to manual scan and blind scan with tuner B so maybe my tuner A failed in some way. I have snow on the roof now so I think I'll just settle on using my B tuner for the winter. Thanks for your help everyone.

Yes, I read something about that and will be giving DiSEqC a try. The thing though is that I had USALS working just fine with a standard LNB with LOF/L=10750, LOF/H=10750 and Threshold=11700... that's why I thought if I change to a universal LNB, I should just have to change the LOF frequencies to 9750 and 10600 (as per LNB manufacturer) and it would just work. We'll see what happens with further troubleshooting.

I'll keep plugging away at this for sure and let you know when/if I succeed. I just find it hard to believe that when all I presumably had to do is replace the LNB and change LOF settings. Changing LOF frequencies should not affect stab HH motor movement. Its a question of time before I figure it out.

    Thanks for everyone's help.

Hey supwiddiss, thanks for your input here.

I've had my eye on the OsMio 4K for a while now but was hoping to get the H7 working. As you know it has the dual S2 tuners and an ATSC tuner. The OsMio has one S2 tuner and a T2 tuner which doesn't work here. I guess I could get a USB ATSC tuner for terrestrial reception. I've heard a lot of good things about the OsMio scanning and the TNAP image.

I'll try a bit more with the H7.AC and see if DiSEqC settings make a difference before buying an OsMio. Where would you recommend buying a OsMio4K?

Yes, all my hardware is working perfectly with the TBS tuner, SmartDVB on a Windows10 computer. Today I scanned the entire arc from 129.0W to 87.1W with the universal LNB.

Before, I was using an Invacom QPH-031 https://www.amazon.ca/Invacom-…lar-Outputs/dp/B000RLAK7A and had no problem with tuner settings Advanced, "Selecting satellites 1 (USALS)" and "User defined" L.O. settings of LOF/L=10750, LOF/H=10750, Threshold=11700. It would manual scan and move the dish.

I may just try the DiSEqC settings and see if that works. Quite surprising. I thought this universal LNB would be drop in with a change of user defined LOF settings.

Sorry, Pure2 does support satellites on this side of the pond for known active transponders. I overwrite with an xml file that has only satellites for this area and which includes channels that are deemed not active with the hope that I'll be able to scan in more channels. Blind scan doesn't work 100% for me with LOF frequency of 10750 which is why I replaced the LNB with a universal LNB. I thought all I'd have to do is change the user defined LOF frequencies and all would be golden.

So I just updated my satellites.xml with the xml update plugin and I'm still not able to scan or move the USALS dish. The lamedb file has the satellites for this area.

Hello, first and foremost, thank your taking an interest to help me with this. I'm in Canada on the west coast. The LNB is an Avenger Ku band single LNBF, part number PLL321S-2. Here is the link to the specification page http://www.dmsiusa.com/docs/pll321s-2-specs1.pdf

I'm wondering if the satellites.xml or the lamedb files are causing the problem. A new installation of Pure2 does not support satellites on this side of the pond. I need to go to http://satellites-xml.org/ to get a file that supports this area and overwrite the satellites.xml located in etc/tuxbox. My understanding is that the lamedb file will be updated with each scan.

My dish is not moving with the simple configuration and manual or blind scan.

Yes, I tried simple configuration modes with single, positioner (selecting satellites) and positioner mode. I tried advanced configuration mode with Selecting satellites 1 (USALS), All satellites (USALS), selected individual satellite, assigned LNB1 and tried with LOF set to Universal LNB and User defined.

I tried pretty much everything I could see would be worth while trying. I have not tried any DiSEqC settings since I don't use a switch.

I'm currently scanning the entire arc successfully using SmartDVB on a Windows10 computer so the hardware is fine.

Hello, I had a standard linear 10750Mhz L.O. LNB working on my Zgemma H7 using "Selecting satellites 1 (USALS)" and "User defined" L.O. settings but couldn't blind scan properly. I replaced the LNB with a universal LNB and changed the user defined L.O. settings to 9750Mhz and 10600Mhz but it will not scan manually or blind scan. The new universal LNB works just as it should when I have it connected to my TBS-5922 USB tuner using SmartDVB software on a Windows 10 computer. It doesn't work for some reason with my Enigma2 receiver. I have tried numerous variations of tuner config settings with no luck.

Can someone post a tuner configuration that works with a universal LNB with no DiSEqC switch and Pure2 6.5? My setup is receiver to Stab HH motor to LNB.

    Thank you
