It could be poor username / password combo.
If "hackers" have good name lists and it's simple for people to know dns urls, they run software and gets hits on lines and such like.
Display MoreDisplay MoreFor me it's software/firmware/image related, as your box DM800HDseV2 is still good and has a lot of RAM/Flash, to compensate some lower CPU speed (400 Mhz DuoCore).
OpenATV is a "slow image", try OpenPLi for DM800HDseV2, I think that it's much lighter and you could be surprised by much better results.
You can also try to use exteplayer3 instead of gstreamer, you will also have big differences between these two players.

Install serviceapp and change player to extplayer3.

Yeah, ABM was fine on OpenATV, PurE2, OpenSPA (old), OpenHDF, OpenPli and whatever other spin offs Pli I messed with.
Ended up with about 17 images in Barry Allen, before just switching to OpenATV as main one due to wife wondering what the hell I was doing lol

I ended up editing bouquets via dreambox bouquet editor, saved settings on a blanket flash then restored settings on all OE2.5 I used, but currently using OpenATV mainly anyways with abm as main viewing as OE2.5 was just playing about.
Hi guys, recently acquired a dreambox dm900 for some messing about, managed utilising Barry Allen so mixing between some OE2.5 and images like PurE2, OpenATV etc.
My question is based on OE2.5 like Merlin, DreamOS, Gemini, Dream Elite.
Is there any satellite debs similar to say ABM? and / or any 28.2E sorted freesat or lists in normal channel order floating about, or where to look?
So far I scanned and just used web admin bouquet editor and made a favs and saved settings to use across most OE2.5, but looking for any additional to try out.

yeah good when kodi was on others, I used compile it in openpli back when version was 15.2 Isengard.

Now I am not sure if they have made it public in terms of git.
But was wondering if PurE2 had any plans on trying get latest Kodi 18.3-5 on ARM boxes like Amiko Viper 4k, Octagon SF8008, H9 Combos as an example?
I know mostly to do with OpenGL if I remember rightly, but thought I would ask.

Strangely, there doesn't seem to be a log of the crash! Nothing in home/root/logs at all. I have a video of it if that will help but I can't find any logs of what is actually happening.
The Kodi log will be in /tmp Mano.
Display MoreYes, after I posted I went into my ciefp channel list and he has some VOD channels, so I checked. As you say, numbers for FF/RW do not work.
FF/RW/STOP/etc. buttons also do not work, except |>|| button (play/pause - it does pause and restart in my Zgemma H9S, at least).
Yes, like you, I was thinking first in OLM, E2iPlayer terms, where it does work. I also do not use those VOD channels.
I'll ask the coders if this is possible and report back.

If streaming/playback FF - you probably know this - buttons 3, 6 and 9 work.

Video on Demand in Bouquets, i.e movies/tv shows which come with an iptv.
Normally on OpenATV/OpenVIX you would hold right, then a seekbar would come up, and to pause you would press help pause playback, its a workaround as in bouquets ff and rw dont work, as does numbers as that would just change channel as in bouquets.
But as above, I tried mapping seekbar as a button and as right, but nothing.
Its not an issue for me directly as I hate vod in bouquets, I told them use whatever in XC and use OLM :)
But randomly popped in my head, so thought I would ask.

If hold right on say Vix/Atv/ you get a seekbar come up to fast forward.
On PurE2 even if set keymap for seekbar, cant find away to get up on PurE2, even if the normal workaround seek forward or seekbar via help button.
Only asking as suggested a few move over and they love PurE2, but these little things they ask me.
Any ideas, or not possible?

In Estuary > config > you have a setting for transparency and that should give you a picture in a part of the screen. But no PiG as such, sorry. The skin was already huge and the consideration was the balance between using it in all boxes and not using it at all in some, since it took too much space, if PiG was added...
But there are other skins you can add, if PiG is a must for you, no problem. We discussed it on this forum, Jenseverest and me...

Great images, my main image on SF8008, Uno4k, Mutant HD51 then others in Multiboot.
Not a request, as not overly fussed, but was wondering if Mini Tv could be added in Graphical Epg on Estuary at all? doesn't seem to come up which isn't an issue, but werent if that could be added an option within edit estuary skin at all?
If not, no worries, as like as is, but since its pretty customisable, thought may be a good suggestion if poss.

In Suls set ALL IPTVS to Enabled, then install serviceapp and change e2 player to extplayer3, will eliminate most stutter for general playback, for pvr/record, 4097 and e2 player, or dvb and e2 player or extplayer3 is fine, 4097 and ext3 normally locks up (record)
As for Mutant HD51, yes its a great box, 4 slots for images as has emmc multiboot also.
PurE2 image is great on it..

Oynx epg mash mod fine on OpenATV, but on Vix no coloured buttons other than that fine also.

Tried loads of boxes for the hobby but never the hybrids as in reality gimmicky and normally driver issues, but bored and fancy a go.
A mate has the Dinobot U5 mini and loves it though, altough he has not much of benchmark vrs other devices.Mine doesn´t even have the SD card in it, so as you said, yes it has another partition only for E2, thanks god OpenATV allows you to do a flash online or from a USB thumb drive without having to press the green button while the box is booting, so for me is alot easier this way, this method also works with Pure2,
but this makes me wonder, what if E2 crashes, what would be the method to fix it??
