Ok, it has a tuner and regarding DRM I had an email replied by dinobot support inbetween and there the answer is, that Widevine L1 is supported. Microsoft Playready not supported.

    libreelec support would be nice

The HiSilicon chip used here is the problem, apparently, as LibreELEC doesn't support this chip manufacturer currently. But from what I've read, it could happen in the feature, because HiSilicon seems to be meeting some of the requirements like a proper Linux kernel etc. Will take time though. One user there wanted to give it a go, but not sure if he is still around.

U5PVR from vivant, they have abandomed us for this new project, sadly, there is no more support for thier already customers... so sad...

thanks vivant hope that with this new idea you get some more idiots like me who payed for you crappy box.

I haven't been following U5PVR / vivant that closely aside from their thread on Kodi forum regarding U5PVR. It's quite quiet there since a while, but according to their forum smartstb.net U5PVR is still receiving firmware updates quite regularly (although forum itself is rather quiet too, it seems).

Dinobot is from the same company and has a new forum, which is quiet too so far, but Dinobot is new, so maybe it just takes time... Hard to judge the support vivant is providing. At least per email it was quick, detailed, competent.

What problems do you have with U5PVR, if I may ask?

    Hi pcd,

thanks a lot for your feedback and effort!

Would it help to request some info about this cookie emthod on the openATV forum? It must have changed in the new version - maybe not intentionally, so that mentioning it could point out a bug, that gets fixed...

If you think it can help, please let me know what I should ask exactly (i.e. how it currently is and how it should be, ideally).

Other than that thanks for the offer to flash an openATV image and check it out! While it would be good to have it working again, I don't want to cause you any trouble. If you feel like it some day, you are welcome to check it out of course, but other than that it's ok. I still can use my PC as an emergency solution...

    Hi pcd,

I can enter LSHunter -> Unblock-1 (the only entry there, unlike on PC) -> Now playing -> error (same for all other categories like Football etc.)

I think the problems started when I've flashed openATV 6.2, restored my settings and re-installed KodiLite and SportsDevil. For openATV 6.2 the main Dev said, that nearly all libs etc. got updated to the newest versions, so I guess that one of them (or several) have changed and that some adjustments would need to be made in KodiLite plugin, if it's supposed to work with this new E2 image version.

That's the only explanation I can come up with... Would debug logs help you in any way?

The specs above don't mention a DVB-S2 tuner, but according to the video there is one, apparently. Is that correct?

Also what DRM levels / formats are supported, if any?

    Hi pcd,

I'm trying LiveSports -> Bundesliga-Streams.net -> no links are visible here and also no in "ALL" (on PC links are in both sections as always). Trying to enter "ALL" reports an error.

Similar behavior in other sources under "LiveSports"...

Tried to use the useradlist.txt but once I try install from a source there, E2 crashes. Crash log attached. useradlist.txt has this content:

    Code
    ##### All ####
    plugin.video.SportsDevil###https://github.com/kodil/kodil/raw/master/repo/plugin.video.SportsDevil/plugin.video.SportsDevil-2017.12.03.zip###

    I'm using this version too...

Although I see in the e.log file these lines:

    Code
    In checkLine line =plugin.video.SportsDevil###https://github.com/kodil/kodil/raw/master/repo/plugin.video.SportsDevil/plugin.video.SportsDevil-2017.11.01.zip###https://github.com/kodil/kodil/tree/master/repo/plugin.video.SportsDevil###
    latest =2017.12.03

The linked zip file seems to be wrong? Do I need to change anything, before installing SportsDevil plugin?

Edit: I've edited the adlist.txt file and changed the line with the correct zip file:

    Code
    plugin.video.SportsDevil###https://github.com/kodil/kodil/raw/master/repo/plugin.video.SportsDevil/plugin.video.SportsDevil-2017.12.03.zip###https://github.com/kodil/kodil/tree/master/repo/plugin.video.SportsDevil###

Then I've re-installed the SportsDevil plugin, but it still doesn't work properly and in the e.log there is still the same lines

    Code
    In checkUpd version = 2017.12.03
    In checkLine line =plugin.video.SportsDevil###https://github.com/kodil/kodil/raw/master/repo/plugin.video.SportsDevil/plugin.video.SportsDevil-2017.11.01.zip###https://github.com/kodil/kodil/tree/master/repo/plugin.video.SportsDevil###
    latest =2017.12.03

The last line in e.log, which says that I opened bundesliga-streams.net -> ALL is the one where the error occured and usually there are some links in "ALL" and also in the root of bundesliga-streams.net and other services, but in my case there are no links.

I'm still looking for some info about the SportsDevil plugin...

    Attached the error logs.

    e.log

    error.log

Does the sportsdevil plugin work for anyone?

It stopped to work for me recently, after I changed something on my network setup by adding a smart switch. Other internet related things like online update of the E2 image etc. work fine, but sportsdevil seems not to load any contents / links anymore... Not sure if it's related to the switch - wouldn't know why though.

Does KodiLite require any ports or something? Didn't have any in my router before though... Strange... Kodi + Sportsdevil on my PV work fine.

    Edit:

Just changed it back to a direct connection without the switch and it still doesn't work, so something seems to have changed intebween. Is it still working for anyone?

Ares project, colossus repo and some others got deleted / shut down recently, from what I've read. One important part is the URL-resolver, apparently. It's still possible to download the plugin.video.SportsDevil-2017.11.01.zip manually from some sources and it works fine on a PC kodi installation.

Probably some changes are needed, so that KodiLite doesn't try to access the colossus repo etc.

    Hi pcd,

I just did a fresh install of the version 2.1 of the KodiLite plugin and then installed SportsDevil from KodiLite list. As verison is being showed "2017.03.28" so it should be the version 1.0.1 in which you had fixed the issue with missing dates and times, but from what I see, the dates and times are missing again.

I have to add, that the dates and times are missing for all the other "providers" as well.
