How strange. It initially worked but this is what happens now. Just to confirm I’m on the latest openatv 7.2 from the feeds

I’ve just updated to open atv 7.2 and wanted to check whether others are having the same issue as me
When you click epg it brings up the graphicalepg I think it’s called. When you then press menu it shows a blank screen with no options
If you go via the set menus where all the settings are and go to the epg/graphicalepg. You can see all the options
Could someone check if they have the same issue

Im having issues with the autotimer picking up the channels for recordings. I understand it is an issue with service refs etc
Ive come across this which they say should help
https://github.com/oe-alliance…b53b7ba515deb5a0e37a754fc
Ive managed to decompile the autotimerlist.pyo in /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/AutoTimer
When i place the file back in there with the edit it doesnt work and if i rename it to a .py file the box doesnt change it to a pyo file which it needs
Any ideas on what i can use to compile the file with the edits?

Hello there
How do i remove the toppicks from the skyq skin. Ive looked in skin.xml but there is no reference to toppicks
-
I am far too busy to answer all your questions.
my file names pretty much say what is in them
o-menus.xml ???
I have given you a heads up of the structure of my files.
If it's a panel template it usually lives in o-main-templates
If its not a panel template you can just amend the positioning / size etc in that screen.
I recommend you download the skin folder to your computer for faster searching.
/usr/share/enigma2/slyk-onyx-1080
If you turn on debug logs on your box. You can go into any screen and then look at your debug log to see what that screen is called.
For example main menu.
/home/root/logs
Then you can just use something like notepad++ to search for that screen name to find where it lives in my files
All sorted now thanks. Removed v-glass-divider and flare from o-backgrounds and moved along the tabs as you mentioned.
Thank you once again 👍 -
Edit I just deleted the v-glass png and it’s removed from all the screens which is fine. Just that glowing patch now to sort
-
o-epg.xml same screen
<widget name="tabsrow" position="489,272" size="1431,54" backgroundColor="transparent" transparent="1" />
I’ve moved the tabs along and shortened the line on the main epg screen
How can I remove the line totally from the main menu screen.
Do you think anything else will have messed up?
That line that I shortened had a glow at the bottom. Can that be removed? -
how to take a screen shot
type your boxes IP address into a web browser - which will load openwebif.
right click your screen grab image - save image
The epg tabs along the top. Can they move individually? Where might I play around with those?
-
Just been playing around with the files
-
/usr/share/enigma2/slyk-onyx-1080/
<screen name="GraphicalEPGPIG"
delete the line
<panel name="divider1" />
sorry which xml file is that in. I’ll just try removing it lol
-
/usr/share/enigma2/slyk-onyx-1080/
<screen name="GraphicalEPGPIG"
delete the line
<panel name="divider1" />
perfect thanks. Does that divider have its own png file. Was going to try to alter the size of possible
-
ok, so what you want to do is so much work it isn't worth the hassle.
Screens in enigma2 are not like responsive websites. Every single element in an enigma2 skin is absolutely positioned.
You cannot just move one element and then everything else magically moves accordingly.
To move the dividing line to allow more of your long channels names to be shown, you need to amend every single element on that page
You would have to move the divider
Resize the TV
Realign the date
Realign all the buttons
Resize the EPG
Move the description across
etc etc.
If you want to show picons in EPG ( I personally never understood peoples obsession with showing picons in EPG - they take up pointless space)
Then you have to work out the numbers for all the values
Press menu on your EPG
Select what you want shown in the EPG
Then you need to work out the maths for the shown elements.
That space in Onyx skin is 480 pixels.
If you have picons show at 100 pixels. Then you need to amend the service width to 480 - 100 = 380
Editting the skin files to acheive what you want, is probably beyond the scope of a person that isn't an experienced skinner.
As all my files are template based. So amending 1 screen might effect many more screens.
Either don't show picons, or adjust your settings numbers, or use a different skin that has more room for long iptv titles.
They are your only real options. Or just use channel select screen to view epg (TV BUTTON or press down arrow on tv). Much more room to view whats on, on that screen.
Many thanks for explaining it in detail. Is there any way just to remove it all together or change the height so that it just covers the mini tv area. That way nothing else will need moving
-
i will answer your question in detail later when i am on my computer
thankyou 😊
-
Does anyone know if that can be moved or removed? Or what the graphic is called?
-
That is a graphic.
\usr\share\enigma2\slyk-onyx-1080\epg\timeline-now.png
Moved that file out but think you may have misunderstood. This whole thick line needs moving or somehow removing
Sorry for being a pain lol
-
just change the width as mentioned in the above settings until it fits.
There is no definite answer, as it depends whether you are showing the picons. And what size you showing the picons.
The service width increases the width of the box. Im referring to the vertical grey line that comes runs down the screen. I need a wide service width but the grey line is fixed
-
Epg / settings / service width / 460 for me but I don't show the picons there
Yeah the picons push everything along. I feel i may need to edit one of the xml files somewhere
-
Hello there. Ive probably overlooked the option but how can i move this solid grey line to the right?
-
After playing around with the settings in the EPG menu. I enabled "enable virgin epg" and those channels with missing epg data are now showing
