Same here really as the satellite things are my boys toys and retired ex TV engineer. Set up with 80cm dish with disecq switches and working off 28.2/19.2/13 degree positions. Been using VIX for the last year and works well with my FTA channels. Must have a dabble though with some new images and see it they offer anything new. Keep me busy for the winter months.

I would be interested in comparison of features between the different operating images. When buying sometimes have the choice of which to install and tend to fall back to VIX. What differences go with PLI, OpenATV, Team Blue, OpenEight etc.

Got an SX88 here and works well but do find it limiting as seems more geared to European markets than the UK. Things like 28.2 restricted to just now and next EPG. The E2 receivers offer more flexibility for extra bits and pieces.

Paulct What made you go for F4 turbo? Do you (think you will) miss DVB-S2X capability?

Very pleased with the F4 turbo. Using it with 3 lnb setup for 28.2/19.2/13 setup using DISECQ switch. Record programs on to Sandisk USB sticks and can access on my network so can watch on my computers and laptop + can also move recordings over to computer if want to save. Also then use with Handbrake to save space of video files. Best set up I have had so far.

Hoping can get some advice and told SamSamSam is the developer is on this forum. Using IPTV with Vix on a Formuler F4 Turbo and found it useful as could record IPlayer streams but on updating this morning the player has changed to E2i player and I can't seem to be able to record anymore. Any advice would be helpful to continue being able to record the streams. Thanks
