    i dont understand my receiver is a fortis ultraplus x-9200hd. It is not enigma2 image. the way i install oscam or any other plugin on it is by placing the following plugin folder on a usb and installing it by plugging in the usb and ppessing red button for install on the remote. The rar folder i have attached contains and older version of oscam which installs and works but not for powervu. i am after a powervu version which installs this way.

    If anyone can can help me out it could be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Ahmed,


    Previously on my Ultraplus X9200HD (fortis model) i had this oscam installed by placing the following attached plugins folder which is extracred for tghe zipped (rared) file placed on a usb and then installed via the remote control on the ultraplus by pressing the red button. how can i install your version of oscam.

    Could you please guide on on how to do this with your version or if not too much trouble could you make the plugin to be installable via usb


    Any help or guidance would be so much appreciated. i mainly want it so i can use it for powervu and anything else available on Intelsat 19

  • new static ip address on ubuntu server

    Here try this


    ####MAKE STATIC IP ADDRESS####


    sudo nano /etc/network/interfaces


    and make it look like this choosing your own ip address extension


    example i am using 150


    change the dhcp to static and add these lines so it looks like this Using your configs as 0.1 is for wired and 1.1 is wireless i am using wired in this example



    auto eth0:0

    iface enp3s0 inet static

    address 192.168.0.150

    netmask 255.255.255.0

    broadcast 192.168.0.255

    network 192.168.0.0

    gateway 192.168.0.1

    dns-nameservers 8.8.8.8

    dns-nameservers 8.8.4.4


    Now to CTRL-X and then Y to save


    and to restart network with new ip type the following and press ENTER


    service networking restart or just reboot


    sudo reboot (hit enter)

  • Invalid ecm type for card - Oscam

    Hi there was hoping if someone could please advice why this happens


    It works for around 30 mins or so and then this error appears and everything freezes


    It is the same regardless if i use the oscam on a dm800se or on linux 64 bit ubuntu

    If i restart oscam, the pics come back and then it does it again within the 30 min span


    The card is not paired as i only have original card no sub box was provided


    It was also pointed out to me that in oscam the card says CARD OK but under Entitlements in says NONE. As far as i know it has always said none but it was still working ok for the last year or so . I am really confused now.

    i have tried your method also amd i think i have found the problem . when it errors on oscam the message i get is

    however if i disable the other box and leave only the main dreambox only with the dvapi it stays on without freezing


    this is why i am confused


    If you could please see these settings and adjust them for me i would appreciate it as i keep stuffing it up somehow because i do not beleive i need everything i have in there like emulator and the stream relay stuff unless i am wrong .



    Sorry if i am sounding stupid but i am really confused here


    p.s. i also tried connecting my ultraplus x9200hd just in case it was my second dreambox and i connected the ultraplus using xcamclient with the following line and same results 10 mins then it all freeezes again


    the line i used in ultraplus insead of the second dreambox just as a test is

    I tried the above settings and cleared pics on other box also but 10 mins later everything stopped.

    I'm not sure where I have gone wrong


    Could you please tell me if I have to put anything in cccam.cfg.or newcamd.list or cccam.list and do I have to remove anything from oscam.conf as I am only using card and not the emu component and also which softcam would I connect with from the client box. Is it cccam with nline or mgcamd with cws or something else

    Additional Dreambox which i wish to connect with


    no configs have been done with cccam or mgcamd as am not sure how to connect to the msin dreambox


    The only thing that is running is oscam with dvapi. Ideally what i would like to do is connect it via mgcamd if possible and if so what am i missing please unless i can connect to the box as is currently configure but from what i have been reading mgcamd is a better way if i am not mistaken


    please advice me if possible
