hello.how i can update ffmpeg?
i have v3,my box is dm 520 image newnigma.
Hi,
---------------------------------------------- first telnet ... root
opkg update && opkg upgrade
sync
exit
--------------------------------------------- then reboot
this way your box is up to date
telnet ... root
opkg install ffmpeg
but i doubt because it's often necessary to take a brand new image to get the latest FFmpeg 4.1.x (this one needs new useful libraries)
Regards
???
it is likely that the curl library is also missing
try the following
via telnet ... root
opkg update
opkg install python-json python-html python-compression
opkg install curl
opkg install python-pycurl
sync
reboot
exit
then after reboot of your box
telnet ... root
opkg list | grep -E "curl|pycurl"
you will know immediately if everything is well installed

hello Maestro
just a little clarification about the rtmpdump
I see that today your program gives back the library and the binary on a dm800 (openssl 0.9.8) with a dreamultimedia image (gst 0.10)
Should we deduce that 0.9.8. could soon find a suitable FFmpeg?
it could be interesting for the original dm800 ...
Thank you for your IPTV player that revives images enigma2-mipsel
