Hi guys! Finally I received my Vu+ Solo SE V2 and it seems I was right... at least a bit. It's BCM7241or... BCM7429.
The OpenWebIf Box Info says:
The OpenVIX says:

Easy question is how much did you pay...usually eradicates if you have bought genuine or duff...
690PLN = ~163EUR = ~ 200USD based on average exchange rate
That doesn't answer the question.
I know it's MIPS. I've read this table more than doze times.
Just to clarify: MIPS is an architecture (RISC), BCM is the manufacturer, 7429 is the model... The question was what model is it.
I.e., you'll find a list of STB capable chips by Broadcom below. Almost every one is MIPS
I never see solo se v2 clone ??
can u post pic u vu u buy
Haven't seen it. Just ordered and waiting for delivery on friday. I'm trying to figure out what's going to be in the package I will receive. The pictures are in the link above, the Online shop. Is it possible that every one of polish shops made a mistake with specs?
Thanks!
Hi,
I've just bought a Solo SE V2 online but I'm confused of what processor model is inside.
The wikipedia and some youtube videos states it's BCM7429 -> Vu+ Wiki
The online shop states it's BCM7356 -> Online shop
Can you guys tell me what's the truth?
I'm afraid of geting the clone.
Thanks
Hi,
my plan is to move from my current setup (Unicable LNB, custom tuner delivered by provider, with dual DVB-S2) to linux box with cccam/oscam, preferably Vu+ Zero or Solo SE V2.
I know that both devices support cccam/oscam and SAT>IP.
I saw this thread VU+ZERO AS SAT>IP CLIENT and it does not clarify whether encrypted channels are included in this setup.
I the near future I'm gonna add one or two receivers to my house but cannot drill holes and lay the wires - thats why I'm thinking of a device like Kathrein 414/E SAT>IP server connected to Apple Extreme 6th Gen.
The question is: will receivers be able to decrypt IP delivered channels with onboard cccam/oscam?
Thanks
