How to install latest OpenATV 6.4

1. CCcam*.ipk to USB stick & install to box

2. Set in menu password

3. log in SSH (or Putty) into box (IP check info panel networks)

4. command line write mc (Midnight commander (some old box must install)), it's meed for edit and chmod

5. check that /usr/bin(CCcam_2.3..8 exist and /etc/CCcam.cfg (and of course inside right C lines) and set chmod (mc menu files) both full rights

6. test (quit mc) command line /usr/bin/CCcam_2.3.8 works fine (all crypto) channels now works

7. run mc and write /etc/cron/crontabs/root file first line reboot /usr/bin/CCcam_2.3.8 and press enter (if you write elsewhere, then not works)

8. Power off and on and test that cccam works. If not work then you have mistake in config file or crontab file.

tested with Tiviar and amiko viper latest box.

mayby crontab version is not best, but it works!

Raspbian latest image RPi2.

Mplayer, VLC, Kaffeine and VDR installed. Kaffeine works with free DVB channels. But how do view pay channels?

Kaffeine SC plugins need Qt3 and not accept Qt4 or 5. Qt3 libraries is conflict with other RPi images. Not possible compile and use SC with kaffeine. Is possible find somewhere kaffeine plugins source code for Qt5?

VDR plugins (vdr-plugins-sc) no any info how do compile it for ARM. Source (FFdecsa) is writed for x86 protcessors and is not compatible for ARM. Source needs use another librari - "dvbcsa" (for VLC) and this library is installed. how do use another library for plugins?

FFdecsa i find some errors. first must be changed makefile (both -march=armv7-a) and delete -mmx & sse - ARM not supported. Also changed PARALLEL_32-INT. Now gcc/g++ compiled, but many warning what bit shift more than 32 bit.

Maybe is possible use dvbcsa library with VLC to watch payTV channels?

I have Astrometa with Sony Demodulator. And it's work in RPi2 (Raspian latest kernel 5.4) with kaffeine. If all drivers components work (you see dmesg - where must be realtek and demodulator (sony or Panasonic) records - that those drivers is loaded. Then use some dvb scan utility to check Channel scan. And after this must be find. DVB-T2/C is frontend1! (Realtek DVB-T is frontend0)

I write message how to install CCcam to Amiko Viper4k.

Find and install right proccessor type .ipk and configure over ssh CCcam.cfg then run /usr/bin/CCcamxxxx

And CCcam works!

It's possible.

1. you need some arm ipk-s. install. Don't panic - not any link E2 menu

2. over ssh (putty) repair some records in /etc/CCcam.cfg

3. in BASH run /usr/bin/CCcamxxx (xxx depends that version)

4. if not work then check ps -A is CCcamxxx in the process list. if not, you have some mistake or incompatible CCcam

5. add reboot /usr/bin/CCcam crontab file

Mayby better is download your ARM processor type (check tuner data) binary via opkg, you must find this type binary net collection address (example entware, these are ARM processor support). Of course check how to add opkg configuration file new net address. Only problem, some address is https and you tuner software not included this support, then download usb stick and try this.

I have same error. This mean that card is paired additional CAM module cryptokey. There are today no solution.

Only possible solution is re-paired card some SD tuner if it is possible but i think that operator is not allowed this. (i am not tested but have plan)

New black card caid 0940 not paired with old SD tuner, message says "it is not allowed use this card in this tuner"

Only possible solution is use V** tuner CAM module some other linux tuner (mutant and formula tuner supported today). Then you see all channels.

Today worked only old SD card tuner whit old CAM module.

These used new card pairing method, there provider box STB send into card tuner processor number (etc.) and card locked with provider tuner. If you are used locked card any other tuner, then you only see black screen (card not send CW info to tuner).

If you have some old tuner there is not card provider software, then provider card not locked and all worked succesfully.
