  • Oscam for Linux PC

    good Evening, everyone

    i hope you are all well i am looking for some advise


    i have a dell powerendge r720 server with the following specs below

    OS Ubuntu 20.04.5 server LTS

    RAM 95GB

    cpu Dual Xeon(R) CPU E5-2697 v2 @ 2.70GHz 12 cores each


    How ever oscam as a cpu usage of 60%

    i have complied oscam as below

    sudo -i

    # aptitude update

    # aptitude upgrade

    # aptitude install subversion cmake build-essential libssl-dev libpcsclite1 libpcsclite-dev dialog libusb-1.0-0-dev

    # svn checkout http://www.streamboard.tv/svn/oscam/trunk oscam-svn

    # cd oscam-svn

    # mkdir build

    # cd build

    # cmake ..

    # make -J25

    # exit

    $ sudo make install

    $ sudo chown myuser:myuser /usr/local/etc/ -R

    - upload your OScam configs to /usr/local/etc

    $ sudo oscam

    and replaced the oscam birary file to

    pasted-from-clipboard.png


    is there any way i could reduce the cpu usage by at least 50%

    if more infomation is required please let me know.

  • Oscam entitlements not updating

    hi guys am having a problem last night my cards update but am missing some channels form one of the cards it look like not all Entitlements updated for that card only as all the channels work on the other card how can i force the card that didn't update fully to update without calling the provider to send me the card activation signal.

    hi guys

    first time posting here, i got a question about host files,am trying to get 123 movies working as the host was not working due to the website url change the website url is now this https://www3.123movies.la.

    so i edited the host file change the urls to the above one and also some directory were wrong as the website change them to.

    so i did all that saved the file restarted the box but 123movies still connects to the old links am i doing something wrong, am web developer but i dont no much about python here is the edited file, any help please.
