due to the wget ip address being dead iv deleted it

edit the script iptv.sh

if you remove this bit from the end && /etc/enigma2/iptv.sh

the script wont run

use dcc navigate to /etc/enigma2

find iptv.sh right click and select edit

now look for the bouquet name and edit it to what you want

save and exit

then telnet

/etc/enigma2/iptv.sh

to stop the overwrite of your bouquet

change the name of the 2nd bouquet in your update script

just put a 2 on the end

example

iptvbouquet.tv

iptvbouquet2.tv

then it wont overwrite

you will have 2 bouquets

been working on a script that scrapes hls streams in the background while the e2 plugin is being used

works a treat

all sorts of shite happens the script runs one script then another and again then sent to the plugin

heres a small script to leech lines

could make a plugin but can't be arsed

making sure to use

to keep existing data in CCcam.cfg otherwise you will overwrite whats in there

this will add 2 different sites to the script and so on the script gets bigger

in /usr/script

chmod 755 and run it with a script plugin or telnet

you can use vlc to play the kodi stream
with a small script
called
playercorefactory.xml (google it)

then grab the real link from vlc
tools > codec information

then use livestreamer to download/record it

livestreamer "hlsvariant://http://-stream-link-here" best -o C:\saveme.flv

livestreamer "rtmp://-stream-link-here" best -o C:\saveme2.flv

the epg gets passed from the real sat channel to the stream
so when you play the stream you see the epg

whether it works or not with a cable channel as a stream

then restart enigma2

then select the sly1 channel from your Favourites (TV) channel list

dont forget to change your OpenWebif port as in post 2

and put the above in a userbouquet file

then restart enigma2

then select the channel from your channel list

not tested as i dont have cable

if your OpenWebif plugin has http authentication enable
then you would need to add your root:password to the url

to delete a folder and all its contents

-r = to remove directories and their contents recursively

rm -r /path-to-folder/name-of-folder

to delete a file

rm /path-to-file/name-of-file

which method are you using to get the links

your not picking the right link

use url snopper
use the filter box and put
m3u8
you will see the links

use MovieStreamer it does exactly the same thing as Send To Vu+

if you have the real stream url
copy that link
now its on your clipboard
download
MovieStreamer
open it up to the windows folder
start the MovieStreamer.exe
put in your solo2 ip and WebInterface port
example

192.168.1.4:1234

click start it will auto stream that link to your solo2 via your solo2 mediaplayer
links get saved to

/etc/enigma2/playlist.e2pls

in the right format that enigma2 understands

there are a number of way to get the stream links for that site

firefox right click the stream page
inspect element ,network
refresh the page

or right click

view page source

or easy for you

url snopper

look for the m3u8
these links for this particular site
do not expire
so you can use them as and when

tubitv site is easy to do

can stream to e2 box no android app or device needed

the wife said the same

so i pulled the thing apart
if you do this when you get to the plastic strip
use a hairdryer on hot to loosen up the glue on the strip then just peel it off

the strip still retains its stickiness so you can stick it back down
it works better now than it ever did

i used a free ikea pencil

saved my self 25 quid
